It’s a new property with some construction happening, but nothing that disturbed our stay aside from a few quick power outages. "Hotel Retro was a great boutique hotel in Batumi. Well located in the Old Town and by the harbour, within easy walking distance of much of what the city has to offer. My room was clean and modern with all the amenities that I could need. There was also a great choice of bars and restaurants within easy walking distance. I would absolutely recommend staying here if in Batumi."

"The Black Sea was visible between other high-rise buildings, so it wasn't the best view, but it was fine. It was a very nice new room though and very close to a mall. Plus it was close to the airport. And the staff was very friendly and helpful. For the price, it was amazingly good."

"Everything was great, convenient location, parking, wonderful staff, everyone was friendly, the rooms were cozy, but the bathtub had a crack in the bottom and was covered with adhesive film. Taking a bath was uncomfortable, it felt like you could push your foot through the film and fall in if you didn't pay attention. Everything was just great! I hope you replace the bathtub!"
