"Some people like the grandeur of Italian hotels, some prefer the more modern type of hotels. This hotel convinced us that we are very happy to stay in Italian style hotels. Very nice inside with most comfortable seats in the lounge areas, good breakfast (not a massive choice but perfectly good). Our room was facing the front with a balcony, yes when you were in the balcony during the day there was the road noise from below but when you closed the balcony door the sound proofing was excellent, didn’t hear a thing. Liked the fact that we could use the pool facilities at the nearby Regina Palace for free. Very conveniently located for the restaurants and shops which was good for us."
Hotel La Palma

"Hotel La Palma exceeded our expectations and is one of the finest hotels we’ve stayed at on Lake Maggiore. We booked a Deluxe Lake View Room on the 6th floor, and it was absolutely spectacular. The spacious terrace, complete with a table and comfortable outdoor sofa, offered breathtaking views of the lake and was the perfect place to relax with a glass of wine. The amenities are outstanding. The gym and spa, also located on the 6th floor, are beautifully designed and impeccably maintained. The rooftop Sky Bar on the 7th floor is a wonderful spot for aperitivo while watching the sunset over Lake Maggiore. The hotel also features a gorgeous rooftop pool as well as a massive lakeside pool with incredible panoramic views—both perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing. Breakfast each morning was exceptional. The buffet offered an extensive selection of fresh pastries, fruits, cheeses, meats, eggs, made to order items, and just about anything you could want to start the day. The staff throughout the hotel were warm, professional, and attentive, providing excellent service from check-in to departure. The only drawbacks were that our room was directly beneath the Sky Bar, so the music and activity could be heard into the evening. We also noticed cigarette smoke drifting down from guests at the Sky Bar and from neighboring balconies, which occasionally made it difficult to enjoy our own terrace. Despite those issues we loved our stay."

"The Hotel Boston was fantastic for our needs, the location was just a minute from the swimming areas on the lake and a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Stresa. The air conditioning in the room was incredible, outside it was 36 degrees and muggy so our room was an oasis to return to! We had a big, clean room and the staff were polite and helpful. Parking was easy (I booked well in advance - there aren’t many spaces). The only small thing I’d like to have had would have been a better towel rail to dry the towels on. Oh, and plug sockets - only one in the room and high up and nowhere near a table so we had to take a chair over to balance phones on the back of to charge."

"Eine wunderschöne Ferienwohnung mit einem fantastischen Blick über den Lago Maggiore. Ich hatte noch nie eine so gut ausgestattete Ferienwohnung. Es ist wirklich für alles gesorgt! Und wenn doch Fragen oder Probleme auftreten, ist Yvonne als Gastgeberin sofort zur Stelle (z.B. hat sie uns einen Termin bei einem Arzt gemacht, aufgrund eines kleinen Notfalls, lieben Dank nochmal dafür!). Zugegeben, der Weg hoch zum Haus in Carcioni ist sicherlich nicht für jeden was (ein bisschen steil und eng). Aber wenn man den Anweisungen von Yvonne folgt, ist es eigentlich ganz leicht ihn zu fahren, wenn man sich einmal traut. Und oben wird man mit wunderbarer Ruhe und einem einzigartigen Blick belohnt! Direkt vom Haus aus kann man auch gut ein bisschen wandern gehen. Runter nach Belgirate gibt es einen wirklich schönen Weg. Bei einer Abzweigung geht's auch auf den Motta oder weiter Richtung Mottarone. Wir haben jetzt im Sommer die Klimaanlage im Schlafzimmer sehr genossen. Und auch eine Waschmaschine im eigenen Keller nutzen zu können ist sehr praktisch. Die Treppen zur Wohnung hoch sind für alle Menschen ohne Einschränkungen ganz gut zu bewältigen. Wir können diese Wohnung zu 100% weiterempfehlen und würden sie jederzeit wieder buchen, wenn wir nochmal an den Lago Maggiore wollen."

"Tolle große und sehr saubere Wohnung mit allem was man braucht. So gut war eine Ferienwohnung noch nie ausgestattet. Atemberaubender Blick vom Balkon, der Küche und einem Schlafzimmer auf den Lago Maggiore. Schnelle und unkomplizierte Kommunikation. Super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Nur 10 min bis Stresa. Wir können die Wohnung sehr empfehlen."

"The minute you walk into the reception area you are greeted by very friendly and helpful staff. The property itself is gorgeous and newly remodeled and restored. Every detail is gorgeous! It’s very modern and in good taste. The pool is spectacular and the pool bar is special. The rooms are spacious and had a lake view with a balcony. Beds are very comfortable. The location is perfect close to any thing you want to do. We took a boat to the Iobella island and the jumped in the lake. Highly recommend this property"

"Alberto and Simona are not just incredible people, but incredible hosts too. They go above and beyond to help and assist, offering as much as they can to give you the best possible experience. They even offered a shuttle to take me and my girlfriend for the local village, saving us money on taxi's as we didn't have a car. The 6 nights I stayed with my girlfriend felt like home, mostly due to the way the family made us feel. The breakfast: delicious and custom, the view: I cannot describe it unless you see with your own eyes. The reviews oft this hotel are not wrong. The place is like a postcard and the hotel is peaceful and tranquil. There is even a small private swimming pool, and mini gym, if you just want to stay at the hotel and relax! Me and my girlfriend will be back, no doubt, very soon. Thank you to Alberto and Simona, and of course we cannot forget, your kind family and your dog !"
