"Awful. I would strongly warn people against staying here. I made the booking weeks in advance and upon arrival was told that I’d have to go elsewhere for the first night. I was told there was a problem with the rooms which was a lie. I found out that the hotel overbooked hence had to send numerous people elsewhere. I was taken to a hotel with an inconvenient location with nothing around, I’m appalled by the lack of structure and devotion to its customers. I’ve also historically stayed at Alvida and will say that the rooms are awful. You can hear every ounce of noise coming from adjacent bedrooms and so you will definitely have difficulties sleeping. I didn’t want to write a negative review and was hoping Alvida would be able to refund me, for atleast the first night considering I didn’t stay there - but nope, they refused. I am absolutely appalled by their lack of empathy. Distressing customers like this is disgusting behaviour. Again, I warn people against staying here. Unreliable hotel, obnoxious and a lack of empathy and u understanding. Shame they could not process my refund request given the distress they put me under. Embarrassing as it is to have to admit, they put me under severe distress with their lack of structure and unreliability regarding my stay. Do not stay here as they will no honour your booking and will mess you about."

"Love this hotel - I keep coming back! Amazing views of the sea. Lovely swimming pool - outside and large indoor pool. Good choice for breakfast. Friendly staff."

"otel itself is very outdated, still needs the physical key to unlock the door. However £40 per night for bed and breakfast with 3 swimming pools. The room has a balcony good view of the pool. Close to centre, just about 15mins walk to the mall, surrounded by restaurants and easy pick up point at kfc for day tours. What else can you ask for? The shower is really weak, takes triple the time to finish the shower. Can use the fridge, which is cold enough. If with budget choose this one. If can pay more, choose somewhere else."

"Everything would be more or less fine if it weren’t for the VERY LOUD MUSIC and concerts starting around 11 p.m. The music is so loud that even when you lock yourself in the bathroom, you can still hear it pounding—so if you plan to sleep at night, unfortunately, expect loud music ."

"We had a two day all inclusive stay as a treat for my birthday. We had a great room overlooking the main pool with its own kitchen area, balcony and seating area. The room was spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. We managed to get a table for the special meze experience on our first night. I have had many mezes in Cyprus over the past 30 plus years and have to say this was one of the best I have ever had. The food in the main restaurant was also exceptional with a great selection of choice every meal time, my only minor disappointment was no fresh orange juice in the mornings given this is Cyprus.The staff were very attentive and friendly, the entertainment team tried very hard to encourage guests to join in the many activities on offer. Being early season in April the hotel was fairly quiet but a full programme was on offer including a Cyprus night on the Friday evening which was fun. My wife and I enjoyed a couples massage in the hotel spa before departing so left feeling totally relaxed and refreshed. All in all a fantastic break and I would thoroughly recommend the Louis Paphos Breeze Hotel and hope to return again some time in the future."

"This holiday was an extra one for us so we didn’t research much about the hotel/surrounding area. We also travelled out of season in April so A La Carte restaurants were closed and the outdoor pool was very cold! Our room was spacious, clean and easy to access on level 1. Took a while each day for house keeping to clean our room (sometimes 5pm) so not always easy to go back to the room to relax in the afternoon if it wasn’t done. Buffet style food everyday, although fresh and nicely presented (especially the salads), did get a bit samey. The walks along the seafront were easy and flat and the bar area by the outdoor pool was kept clean, Natasha one of the bar staff always had a smile for you and very accommodating. Likewise the waiting staff in the restaurant, very friendly and helpful. There was an incident in the outdoor pool and if it wasn’t for a guest member (nurse), there would have been a fatality. No medical equipment (defribulator, oxygen etc) was visible and the lifeguards were not paying attention to the pool, therefore, took ages to respond. The manager Anthony did take the incident seriously and hopefully will now take steps to better train lifeguards and position them for better viewing of the pool (not on the bridge and no mobile phones) It will not stop us from returning or recommending to family and friends. However, we will be highlighting not to rely on other people for safety around any pools."

"We had a nice stay here. Lots to do and plenty of sun beds. However my husband got very sick a night before we were due to leave. It turns out there were a lot of other guests experiencing the same vomiting and loose stools too after chatting to a few other guests. I reported it to the front desk but not sure if anything will be done to protect other guests from getting poorly. The only other little negative comment I’d make is about the fact our balcony didn’t have any outside light so we couldn’t sit out there of an evening. Food was good and lots of variety. "
