"Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was very cozy and nice, worked well for our small group. The location worked out well for us, because we bike the Heritage trails at sleeping bear dunes. Loved the firepit across the street by the river with a swing!"

"Exceptional house and property management! The location is incredible to the Darling town of Glen Arbor! The check-in was smooth. Communication was great and this house has everything you would want and more.! We will definitely be back to the Blue Dune! A family of deer were standing in the woods next to the driveway this morning to wish me well as I departed!"

"This was the cutest cottage in the best location. This was a best friends trip and we could not have had a more perfect week. You are only 30 minutes from Traverse City and within walking distance of downtown Glen Arbor but we loved just lounging on the beach in front of the cabin. Chris, the host, was amazing and makes a darn good burger - lol. We already decided we are definitely coming back next year."

"This house was amazing - the only reason I said 4 stars for the listing is because the actual house was much better than some of the pictures. We had a group that was very large - (14 adults for a period of time with 4 small children - then we dropped to 12 adults and 2 kids after the weekend) We had plenty of room to add a couple blowups if necessary - the house was VERY clean and the communication between us and the owner was perfect and very prompt. Location was great in Glen Arbor - we could walk, or water board, kayak to what ever we wanted to do. The amenities were awesome, plenty of everything for all our group. To say we enjoyed our stay just doesn't seem enough. We have stayed in the Leelanau Peninsula for over 20 year each summer and our whole grouped agreed that this was the best home we had rented in all those years. We were a little worried about NOT being on an actual lake but there was such easy access to the beach if you wanted we didn't even miss it. And the river provided so much fun - just sitting and watching the kayakers go by was a lot of entertainment. RENT IT - it was worth every penny."
