Sand and Sky Resort

"This place is the ultimate place in san Pedro for a solid relax and rest vacation. I found sand and sky on Expedia after looking for a peaceful location outside of town. It consists of just 6 caisitas on the beach and because of that, the quality and hospitality is truly next level. The room itself is not only visually stunning on the outside but it's cozy on the inside. A comfortable bed, beautiful sun lit shower, and it's extremely clean !!! The owner Ronna went above and beyond when it came to all of the details. We had a pot of coffee every morning along with freshly baked pastries ( she's talented ) and fruit. It's just enough to get you ready to start your day. She went above and beyond with all of the details ( makeup towels, Turkish towels for the beach, golf cart waiting for us at the resort , recommendations for the best restaurants for local delicious food ) She's also saved my birthday celebration after I almost made a very silly mistake. The goal for the day was to snorkel and see a sea turtle. She made a quick phone call and we were able to get into a company ( and yes I saw the sea turtle 🐢❤️) Watching the stars at night while in bed and waking up gently to the sun each morning was the cherry on top. I'm back home and feel regulated and rested. Thank you Ronna for your hospitality ( from your fellow Canadian)"

"We walked into the villa after a pretty long travel day, tired and ready to just collapse, and there was water, beer, fresh fruit, and even fresh coconut water straight from the tree waiting for us. Such a small thing, but it made us feel instantly welcomed, like they actually thought about our arrival ahead of time instead of just handing us a key. That kind of thoughtfulness carried through the whole trip too, whenever we needed something, it was already taken care of before we even had to ask. Little touches like that are what stuck with us most about this stay, it wasnt just a beautiful location and property, it was clearly a team that cares about the details. We left already talking about when we'd come back."

"North Beach Retreat is the perfect hidden gem on Ambergris Caye. A modest resort that is ideal for those looking for a quieter and relaxing stay outside of the bustling town of San Pedro. The private beach, starlit sky, and close proximity to neighbouring resorts and restaurants provide the perfect balance of remote and convenience. However, the true heart of North Beach are the property caretakers Yvonne & Norman. They welcome you like family and provide an experience that surpassed my expectation. They pour so much love and care into the resort and do not hesitate to tend to the needs of their guests. Whether it was breakfast in bed, fresh coconut water, or showing you local spots in town, my first solo trip was one I will never forget!"

"Loved having everything in the room & on the property. From bottle opener & to delicious well prepared meals onsite. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean & well equipped. The hotel is about 45 minutes away from downtown via golf cart but I planned accordingly and enjoyed onsite and nearby amenities. Front desk main staffer. I cannot remember his name but he guided and helped on every topic, even prior to arrival! He was the best & I’m sorry I cannot remember his name. He made our stay phenomenal."

"the resort was beautiful. loved the pool the kitchen was very nice .very clean. Eiden was very nice and helpful...activity director Karen was awsome and very helpful . making sure all our activities were set up. due to mother nature the beach was not available but there were other beaches near by. karen booked us a tour to check out the Mayan ruins and cave tubing with lunch included. we had an awsome time.....Eddy and Mike {tour guides} were really cool and made sure everyone was comfortable and was having a great time ,they also were very knowledgeable"

"The property was lovely. Staff was great. The resort wasn’t staffed very well. They were short and it made the restaurant in the bar, not be open for a lot of the time and things close down. It could be due to later in the season and it was a lot farther than we anticipated from the main area other than that, it was wonderful perhaps earlier in the season it would be a little bit better. We would go back if that were the case. "
