We are located just 10 minutes from downtown Crucita, 45 minutes from Manta city, and 30 minutes from Portoviejo.There are 2 restaurants within 2 blocks and several weekend restaurants on the beach.The beach is virtually private, ideal for couples and families seeking a quiet and relaxing vacation away from the hustle and bustle of the big city.

Quiet relaxing beach stay
After staying in nearby beach resorts with lots of people and traffic, it was a pleasant surprise to stay at Vistamar bed & breakfast. It is a prime location just north of the small fishing village of Crucita right on the beach. The rooms are very comfortable, and we could see the beach from our room. There is a quiet place to sit and put your feet up and have your morning coffee or tea, or an afternoon cerveza. The couple that runs Vistamar are very nice and accommodating, if you need anything or some advice they came through. The beach is very nice and uncrowded, we had it mostly to ourselves the few days that we stayed there. The locals are also very nice. Our hosts Guirlene and Oswaldo spoke both English and Spanish fluently so communication was no problem. So if you like long quite walks along the beach and a relaxing getaway from the hustle and bustle of the tourist traps, this is the place for you. My family and I really enjoyed our stay and we think you will too.
