Built in the 1930s and nestled along the shores of Copano Bay, our historic waterfront cottage has been thoughtfully updated while preserving its original character. We’re continuing to lovingly restore this special home one project at a time, blending modern conveniences with the timeless charm of a classic Texas coastal cottage.

It’s the kind of place where mornings begin with coffee on the porch as the sun rises over the bay, afternoons are spent fishing from the private pier, and evenings end beneath a sky full of stars with the gentle sounds of the water. Our waterfront cottage comfortably sleeps up to 8 guests and offers plenty of space to settle in and enjoy the bay.

Bayside is a tiny, peaceful fishing community on Copano Bay, away from the crowds of the busier beach towns but still close enough to enjoy everything the Coastal Bend has to offer.

• About 20–30 minutes to Rockport Beach and downtown Rockport
• About 20–25 minutes to Portland
• About 30 minutes to downtown Corpus Christi, the Texas State Aquarium, and USS Lexington
• About 40–50 minutes to Port Aransas, depending on ferry traffic

For nearly a century, this little cottage has watched the sun rise over Copano Bay. We’re honored to be its caretakers and are continuing to lovingly restore it while preserving the character that makes it so special.

• The Bayside convenience store offers gas, bait, ice, and essentials, with another convenience store nearby in Sunray.
• Guests are responsible for following all Texas Parks & Wildlife fishing, crabbing, and boating regulations.
