"The linens were clean. The carpet needs to be replaced. The motel is old but they are making renovations. It seems to be used by a lot of workers and hunters while I was there. The restaurant wasn't very good. My friend and I had a late breakfast. The biscuits and gravy were not very good. Later in my stay I had a burger which was better than breakfast. The coffee shop wasn't gross! They didn't offer drip coffees I got a latte. It was very weak. I should have ask how many shots came in it, but I didn't. Challis is beautiful and the locals were very friendly."

"This property was excellent for a group of side by side riders! We had 4 couples. Plenty of parking and plenty of space inside for all our food and coolers. Loved having two refrigerators, large kitchen and bathrooms for every bedroom. Very clean and well stocked. Even the resident cat was friendly and welcoming!"

"Such a sweet place, well appointed and supplied. Well built using “period” construction. Great porch for early morning sunrise coffee. Haley was really helpful and a treat to talk to.Definitely planning to over night on trips to Montana and back. Really enjoyed my conversation with the chickens over coffee."
