We enjoyed our stay, but we were disappointed that no food was available due to a water break in the kitchen. Also the promotions for the day included food discounts which couldn't be used. Things happen, but alittle disappointed when no dinners or breakfasts are available. After a drive to get there, had to leave again to find food.

We loved the suite. It had a fireplace and jacuzzi and a full refridgerator with a small kitchen. I would strongly recommend room 214. Beautiful view of the lake. Staff was very friendly. The bar lake view is nice as well.

Not much options for eating at the resort (Feb. visit). Pool was closed due to maintenance issues (not their fault), but not able to reduce the rate because purchased thru Expedia. Gave us a free drink and $10 on the casino card. Staff is not very friendly. Didn’t greet us and not forthcoming with information. Bayfield is a cute town but almost everything is closed on Sunday and this time of year.

We had a very late arrival and staff was expedient and friendly in getting us checked in. Breakfast in the morning at the casino restaurant was very filling and delicious. Employees were friendly and helpful. Gorgeous location on the lake with sizable rooms and amenities

Check in was chaotic, with booking through hotels.com and hotel not aligning, paying $74.70 through a "discount site" like hotels.com vs. rack rate was very disappointing to discover. Hotel only had me for 1 night, but had proof of 2 nights. The staff was able to accomodate despite being sold out for 2nd night. The condition of the pool/whirlpool was the only other disappointment. The hotel, food, staff were amazing. Room was extremely clean, spacious. The staff at the casino excellent, and our server in the restaurant was exceptional. I feel like this is a great stay, in a beautiful location, but my disasstisfaction is with Hotels.com

Ok place to stay-old, dark room
When we made reservation, it said we were going to have a view of lake. Instead, we were put in corner room where we had view of pool and upstairs bar. I moved heavy chair in room in front of door to make my own view from room and then went and took a pool chair up to our room door and positioned so I could look out at lake. Rooms are ok - old. Wish we would have ordered off the menu instead of had their buffet on Wednesday night. We ate the rest of our meals in Bayfield. The casino and it's bar was nice.

My biggest frustration was the check-in process. Check in was at 3p.m. and we could not get into our room until after 4p.m. The people at the desk were not very helpful. Wouldn't check you in until every room was ready. Couldn't even fill out the paperwork to help the process along.

Very restful place. However we were very disappointed that the dining room was closed and we were not advised when we made reservations. It would have made a difference to where we booked.

Checked in and went to room. Wanted to order room service and then that was when learned no dining available. Not informed at check-in. Info available at check-in said pool 9-9 and needed a wrist band. Could see pool and people there after 9. Call to desk, pool open until 11 and no band needed. Confusing! View from room was patio by pool, not much of the lake.

A short getaway
This is a fine property, the only drawback was the restaurant was closed for both dinner and breakfast. The price is a little high considering it is not a Hampton.
