Bayfield- Charming Newly Remodeled Condo, Gateway to Apostles

All of Island Time Vacation properties are cleaned per CDC guidelines This newly remodeled one bedroom upper level condo is perfect for a family or a romantic getaway. 1 of 3 adjacent properties we own. Great for a couples retreat or 2 to 3 families wanting to vacation together but have your own space. Sister properties are listings 910613 and 1307347. This Condo sleeps 4, has a queen size bed in the bedroom, a Queen size futon in the living room, and the kitchen is fully equipped. This property offers a private deck, A/C, flat-screen cable TV, WiFi, BBQ, and a fire pit. It is a short walk to the bar/restaurant, heated outdoor swimming pool (open mid June-August), and Port Superior a full service marina. It is nestled in the woods with a short walk to the lake for down time after a full day of adventure or you can sit by the pool over looking the marina. Bayfield is a 2.3 mile bike or hike along the scenic Brownstone Trail overlooking the Apostle Islands and Lake Superior. Bayfield has a fresh fish market, farmer's market on Saturday, shopping, bars, restaurants, live music on the roof top at the Inn, art galleries, and a maritime museum. Take a ferry ride to Madeline Island for the day or an Island cruise through the 22 beautiful islands of the Apostles. The area offers sailing charters, fishing charters, and kayaking. There is an eighteen hole golf course, apple orchards, awesome mountain biking trail and concerts at The Big Top Chautauqua. The Big Top Chautauqua offers free shuttle from Port Superior Marina. Winter- The Ice fishing is awesome, snowmobile trails, snow shoeing, down hill skiing, Cross country skiing, rent fat tire bikes to bike the islands and Ice caves weather permitting. We are a non smoking pet friendly property.

We booked at the last minute due to wanting to avoid camping in bad weather. Host contacted us quickly and condo was clean and ready for us. It was a great location for exploring the Bayfield area and had everything we needed.

Winter wonderland

We wanted to try a new area and thought this would be a perfect location. It was great and although we woke up to a snowstorm, the property was being maintained so we could exit safely. Beautiful balcony and scenery and perfect for a weekend getaway.

Lake Superior Getaway

This is a great property close to the lake and marina. The marina had a great place to dine as well with a view of the marina and lake. Nice and clean property with a cozy cabin feel.

Apple Fest 2024

I came with my daughter and her dog to attend Bayfield Applefest. Place was very nice And is walking distance to the marina which has an excellent restaurant.

Great little spot in the north woods

We really enjoyed our recent stay on this property. It was well appointed, and a perfect base for all of our activities related to our daughters wedding on Madeline island. It has a great green space for our little dog. We enjoyed walking to the Portside restaurant.

Great Location

Property is as described. Clean,dog friendly, central to Washburn and Bayfield. Full fridge and oven for those that like to cook. This was a winter stay and with the snow it was magical. Thank you.

Great Location

The property was perfect for 2 people. Loved having access to the Marina pool, and the 5 minute drive to Big Top Chatauqua for a concert! We will definitely come again for a getaway to the south shore of Lake Superior.

Quiet corner near Bayfield.

I enjoyed how quiet the area was at night. Walking my dog along the marina each morning was a highlight. The place was clean and as described. Perfect place near Bayfield to stay and see the sights. I would stay again.

Overall good!! Had to unplug the glade while I was there. Gave me a headache..but that was easy.Well equipped, clean, nice surroundings, close to all the things I love about bayfield and surrounding areas..might consider a summer stay for a concert at big top….thanks for a great stay..

Marina hideaway

Super close to everything in Bayfield. Too bad the brownstone bicycle trail to town is washed out and closed off. Had a great time. Love the chill pool area.

Great Owner Communication

This was our fifth summer in a row staying at an Island Time Vacation Rental at this location. We keep coming back because everything always is easy and smooth and we love bringing our small dog to the area. After spending the day adventuring, we come back to a clean condo and walk to the Portside Bar & Restaurant at the marina where we sit outside for a beautiful lakeside view with dinner. This year at the end of our first day, we couldn't get the tv to work. I messaged owners Kim & Mark about it and they responded immediately. We couldn't get it working that night so we sat on the balcony and played one of the fun games in the unit. The next morning (which was the Fourth of July), Mark brought over and hooked up a brand new tv with a smile - such a nice thing to do on his holiday. We will be coming back again next summer!

Nice place

Pretty nice place for the price and allowing dogs. Very close to Bayfield and we got to explore town as well as several islands. Only complaints would be the bed and pillows were not very comfortable, and the pool is not open even though it was supposed to be by the time we arrived. Luckily my son doesn’t mind swimming in frigid superior! Very quiet stay in a cute location. Check in and out is super easy as well.
