Bayfield- Charming Newly Remodeled Condo, Gateway to Apostles

This newly remodeled one bedroom upper level condo is perfect for a family or a romantic getaway. 1 of 3 adjacent properties we own. Great for a couples retreat or 2 to 3 families wanting to vacation together but have your own space. Sister properties are listings 910613 and 1307489. This Condo sleeps 4, has a queen size bed in the bedroom, a Queen size futon in the living room, and the kitchen is fully equipped. This property offers a private deck, A/C, flat-screen cable TV, WiFi, BBQ, and a fire pit. It is a short walk to the bar/restaurant, heated outdoor swimming pool (open mid June-August), and Port Superior a full service marina. It is nestled in the woods with a short walk to the lake for down time after a full day of adventure or you can sit by the pool over looking the marina. Bayfield is a 2.3 mile bike or hike along the scenic Brownstone Trail overlooking the Apostle Islands and Lake Superior. Bayfield has a fresh fish market, farmer's market on Saturday, shopping, bars, restaurants, live music on the roof top at the Inn, art galleries, and a maritime museum. Take a ferry ride to Madeline Island for the day or an Island cruise through the 22 beautiful islands of the Apostles. The area offers sailing charters, fishing charters, and kayaking. There is an eighteen hole golf course, apple orchards, awesome mountain biking trail and concerts at The Big Top Chautauqua. The Big Top Chautauqua offers free shuttle from Port Superior Marina. Winter- The Ice fishing is awesome, snowmobile trails, snow shoeing, down hill skiing, Cross country skiing, rent fat tire bikes to bike the islands and Ice caves weather permitting. We are a non smoking pet friendly property.

Beautiful interior and very comfortable. Lockbox would not go back together so had to leave the key and lockbox cover inside when we left. Nice patio area overlooking a wooded area. Exterior was older and had steps to the upper level

Perfect - easy to find, very clean

As expected. Perfect size for two, kitchen well stocked with utensils, dishes, gadgets. Incredibly clean. Easy parking and easy to get to local attractions by car. Highly recommend. Had an issue (no fault of host) and it was addressed promptly.

nice quiet location, close to Bayfield

The condo is a one bedroom apartment with a fully equipped kitchen, nice counter seating, a very comfortable lving area, and a really comfortable bed with great pillows (for me, a big plus). It's a short walk to a marina and a short ride to Bayfield. Very quiet at night. Good climate control system. All in all highly recommended.

3 fabulous days at Bayfield!

This was our first visit to Apostle Islands. The lodging arrangements were perfect. The location is close to everything, the accommodations exactly as advertised, clean, easily found and accessed. Would stay here again and highly recommend!

Nice place, great location.

Great for a couples getaway. We found the location perfect for getting out to all the local attractions. The pool is a walk to the lakefront, which can’t be seen from the property, but the back porch was nice and wooded.

This was a very clean and comfortable place. It was very clean inside. Instead of being right inside of Bayfield, this is a few miles out which eliminates noise. Plus, you have a swimming pool, and a nice bar and restaurant nearby. I will stay there again.

Great place, with few minor exceptions

We really enjoyed staying here. Great location. Close to amenities and things to see/do. Only downside was an unpleasant odor the entire trip that in the room that stuck on our clothes when we left and couldn't get out until it was washed twice. Other than that, we really enjoyed the location and the city.

This is a great property but I wish I had a bit more information. First of all, there is washer/dryer on site but you’ll need quarters. I wish I’d known that ahead of time. The property did not have enough towels. Only three bath towels so bring your beach towels and extra towels. I was there 6 nights and it was too long so we washed them. Overall the property was good but there is a definite hornet problem. Two people and our dog got stung. There are the black/white bald faced hornets and the sting was pretty bad. I also wish I knew there was a fire pit. I’d have brought some stuff for that.

Friendly and peaceful place

We enjoyed this place. It had everything that we needed. The only think was that I couldn't sign in Netflix with my list and it was hard to find something in Spanish, the same thing with You tube, other than that everything was really good.

Great location, clean and cute!

We stayed here in June 2023 and it was a perfect spot for us. The location is great, only a 5 minute drive to downtown Bayfield, the ferry, Big Top and more! The condo was clean and had plenty of space for 2 people. We had one quick question for the owner and they responded within 10 minutes. They have a guest book and binder with recommendations and suggestions for local places to visit and activities to do, we loved that! We would definitely stay here again.

The condo was in a good location with the marina and restaurant on site. Only 5 min drive to Bayfield. Surprised that this unit was on the second floor, as there was no notice about that. AC only in the living area and kitchen. Unit was clean and organized. Overall a good time!!

Enjoyed our mini-vacay to Bayfield. Condo was clean, bed was wonderful. Will book here again if available! Thank you! (Had a great hike on the Brownstone trail to Bayfield - wish the access point was labeled better. Had a nice detour among the upper condo units and a friendly dog-walker pointed me in the right direction. A gem of a hike.... if you can find the trail head.... ; ) Condo was very convenient to the Big Top Chataqua event(s) to which we attended. The condo was nicely decorated, too!! Thank you again for allowing us to stay in your beautiful home!

I loved how the condo has been updated and was very comfortable and clean. However, the TV remote didn't work. It didn't ruin our trip or anything but it seems like a fairly simply amenity that should be available. We also didn't care for the chores we had to do- dishes, take out garbage, etc. When we booked the room, we paid an extra resort fee but yet still had to do these tasks.
