Bayfield- Charming Condo, Jumping Off Point to Apostles

This newly remodeled one bedroom upper level condo is perfect for a family or a romantic getaway. 1 of 3 adjacent properties we own. Great for a couples retreat or 2 to 3 families wanting to vacation together but have your own space. Sister properties are listings 1307489 and 1307347. This Condo sleeps 4, has a queen size bed in the bedroom, a Queen size futon in the living room, and the kitchen is fully equipped. This property offers a private deck, A/C, flat-screen cable TV, WiFi, BBQ, and fire pit. It is a short walk to the bar/restaurant, heated outdoor swimming pool (open mid June-August), and Port Superior a full service marina. It is nestled in the woods with a short walk to the lake for down time after a full day of adventure or you can sit by the pool over looking the marina. Bayfield is a 2.3 mile bike or hike along the scenic Brownstone Trail overlooking the Apostle Islands and Lake Superior. Bayfield has a fresh fish market, farmer's market on Saturday, shopping, bars, restaurants, live music on the roof top at the Inn, art galleries, and a maritime museum. Take a ferry ride to Madeline Island for the day or an Island cruise through the 22 beautiful islands of the Apostles. The area offers sailing charters, fishing charters, and kayaking. There is an eighteen hole golf course, apple orchards, awesome mountain biking trail and concerts at The Big Top Chautauqua. The Big Top Chautauqua offers free shuttle from Port Superior Marina. Winter- The Ice fishing is awesome, snowmobile trails, snow shoeing, down hill skiing, Cross country skiing, rent fat tire bikes to bike the islands and Ice caves weather permitting. We are a non smoking pet friendly property.

What a wonderful condo. 3 min from Bayfield, just a short walk to a marina. Condo has everything you need, fire pit our the front door was well stocked with wood. Bring your groceries with you, and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Conveniently Located

This condo met all our expectations for the long weekend of exploring the area for the first time. It is cute, clean, comfortable and tucked away in the trees with a secluded view from the deck. We relaxed there in the evenings and slept great. Communication exceeded our expectations! We did not utilize the kitchen but it looked well stocked.

Winter stay

We drove to Wisconsin in a snow storm. It was a winter wonderland when we got there. It is cozy and quiet in the winter. Man came and plowed the next day. Did a good job. I love this property and so does my English Cocker. Clean and cozy.

Tour of N Shore and Apostle island

This was a perfect spot for our trip - our stay was Sunday- Monday- some business are not open Sunday/Monday. Have a great retreat made that fine. Nicely appointed and comfy bed- highly recommend if you’re visiting this area.

Hidden Gem

I loved that this building is tucked into a hidden pocket surrounded by trees. It helped to keep the unit cool in the July heat. The condo is well supplied with the necessities and is a great base for exploring the area. We'll definitely stay here again.

Comfortable condo

This is the third time we have stayed in this condo, it is great! The location is perfect for us, walking distance to the marina, and a very short drive to downtown Bayfield. The space is very comfortable and peacefully tucked away. The kitchen is stocked with cooking essentials so we were able to enjoy making breakfast in the condo every morning before heading out for the day. We'll be back, thank you!

Long weekend

Good location if you any to be outside of town but can get there in 5 minutes. We had a great time and the unit was clean and good sized. I thought it would be closer to the water but that’s probably me not reading the description right.

Well maintained condo in a concenient location.

Great place to stay to explore Bayfield area and Madeline Island. Extras included fire pit, grill, heated pool. Cell phone service is sketchy so you may need to step outside There as a bit of road noise on the balcony.

Hideaway close to Bayfield

The condo suited our needs very well…very comfortable. It was nice to have a place near Bayfield but a retreat from the “action”. We enjoyed walking down to the marina after dinner and the balcony overlooking the woods. But it must be said that the road noise is pretty present at certain times of day. We had a couple of questions prior to our arrival and the hosts were very prompt in getting back to us. Nice stay.

We came here for a girls weekend and it was the ideal location for hiking, checking out the marinas, and visiting the orchards. We had no difficulty with finding the location or gaining access to it. The owners made it very easy to come and go. The property itself was clean and beautiful! The furniture was of decent quality and the bed was comfortable! I will totally be back!!
