This spacious 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath is 1600 living sq feet with a private 16'x16' covered porch overlooking the beautiful beaches of Bay St Louis. Open living room and kitchen floor plan with wood shiplap walls. First floor consist of the living, kitchen, dining, utility room, half bath and master bedroom/bathroom. Master bedroom has a queen size bed. Master bathroom has a large tile shower and custom furniture style vanity. Upstairs has a small loft area , two bedrooms and one bathroom. first bedroom upstairs has a queen size bed. Second bedroom has four twin beds . Upstairs bathroom has a tub with tile walls and a furniture style vanity. Downtown Bay St Louis restaurants, bars and shops are within walking distance .4 miles away.

Very nice rental property and location!

This unit is very clean and could not be located in a better location. The beach is just 20 steps straight out the front door. 1/4 of a mile down the beach road to the left is a very quaint and nice and clean, safe, small town. We truly enjoyed it. Would recommend it to anyone.

We celebrated a bachelorette trip in this very cute home and had the best time! The location is directly across the beach and a short walk to downtown. I cannot recommend it enough!!

Ideal BSL Beach location

One of few Bay St. Louis properties where the view out of your front window is the Gulf. You share it with two connected properties, but our neighbors were very nice. Look forward to returning visits!

Amazing Location!!

We loved the location and ability to walk across the street to the beach. The golf cart community was perfect for our young children. The only thing that could be improved was the “consumables” offered (dishwashing detergent, cooking spices, etc). Great stay - will stay again!

Special occasion

Our stay at Mermaid’s Tales was to celebrate my wife’s birthday. This property was perfect! It was sparkling clean, well appointed, and was even better in person, the open living/kitchen/dining area was much more spacious than it appeared in pictures…We saw some amazing sunrises from the living room and porch.This owner’s properties never disappoint! We can’t wait to book again. Also, very convenient to restaurants and shops.

Amazing!!

We booked this place for my bachelorette trip, and it was perfect. The beach is directly in front of the property. It is within walking distant of all the shops, restaurants, bars, and daiquiri shack. The house was clean and beautiful! My friends were calling their significant others and family to plan a vacay back to the property.

This is our third summer booking this property. The rental is clean, modern, and welcoming. It lends itself well to families with the upstairs set of 4 twin beds and common area in between bedrooms. The owners are incredibly responsive and very helpful. The beach access is key.

Beautiful home/location

Every year we have a “sisters week” and go to different locations, this was very nice and being off season, very quiet and relaxing. The location was great, just an hour from NOLA and Biloxi. The house was beautiful and just as described. There were two items to be cautious of - the stones on the driveway can be challenging for those with walking/balance issues and also the showers, they are beautifully tiled which makes them slippery and there are no grab bars to hold onto which could be a safety issue. Evenings on the patio watching the water, priceless.

When we arrived my family was so happy with me for picking this rental! Listing was exactly as shown online. Communication with owners was super. It was wonderful sitting on the porch drinking coffee with the beach as our view. Full size coffee maker, cooking utensils, laundry, even a few games…they’ve got it all. I appreciated that it was a walk to things that made the stay peaceful. Beds slept well too! Bay St Louis for a family of five was perfect!

Beautiful place and great location

We really enjoyed our stay. The weather wasn't great but the VRBO was just fine. Clean, well designed with a very nice front porch and a good view.Beach is right across the street. We talked to the represented twice and they were helpful and pleasant. A little heads up though... TV is streaming only. Not a huge problem but not expected especially for us old f*rts who don't know how to 'cast' anything but a fishing rod. Oh yeah, BRING YOUR OWN SHOWER SOAP and TISSUE. Didn't expect that. If we return we'll diffidently consider this place.

Great Location, Great Accomodations!

We arrived late on a Sunday evening and left on Friday. Our group had two couples and one single. Everyone felt the beds were comfortable and the accomodations had all we needed. We didn't cook any major meals, but the kitchen could have accomodated such needs. Everything was clean and fresh. We walked to town for coffee every day and that was about a 15 minute walk depending on our pace. The beach across the street was simply beautiful. We played in the water every day. The water is shallow for a very long way and the overall current pushes toward shore - perfect for littles. If we ever visit Bay St. Louis in the future, I would stay here again.

Best location

This place is a gem. It is so clever how the unit is divided into 3 locations. Mermaid was perfect, we could wake up and see the ocean. We walked to the local cafe each morning (approx 12 minutes). We would walk to local bars and restaurants. We tried most of the ones that were open. Monday and Tuesday it is really quiet. We loved Sugar Pops, sandwhich of the week, and of course the burger. Cant forget the cakes either. Just a great place. The unit had everything that we needed, and were able to work remote with out any issues. We will be back.

Great accessible location, beautiful views

Wonderful getaway! Winter at the beach can be iffy, but this house is solid. Stormed outside, but we barely heard it. We needed the heaters and they worked well. One for each level, so everybody was comfortable. This location was a great choice for our 93 yr old with a walker. Downstairs bath has easy access. Wide doorways. No tricky floors, rugs, or steps. Upstairs sitting area gave plenty of space for a comfortable retreat. Property manager was quick to respond when a storm blew open a door that we had not closed correctly. And his clear instructions were great. Hurricane doors have an up down lock, that is simple once you understand. We will be back to enjoy the views again.
