Charming, comfortable cottage.

We very much enjoyed our brief stay at Joy's cottage. It was cozy, comfortable and just a short walk from the beach and the Old Town historic district. A perfect weekend getaway.

Beautiful cottage

My wife and I celebrated our anniversary in BSL and had a blast. Upon our arrival Joy met us and showed us the cottage which was clean and very well appointed. We would definitely stay there again.

Adorable, comfy and quiet

We stayed two nights in this adorable spot. It's close enough to the beach and downtown Bay St. Louis to be walkable, but just far enough away to be quiet, even on Memorial Day weekend. The house is perfect for a couple--one bedroom but plenty of space and a little screened-in porch. Over the years, we have stayed in multiple places all over Bay St. Louis and will definitely be checking availability for this spot first in future.

Restful Respite

The cottage is cute & well appointed with everything you’d possibly need; the location is ideal….close enough to all the fun and excitement of Beach Blvd but quiet & restful and very comfortable. I can’t wait to go back.

Great cottage behind owners home. Very quiet , clean, and comfortable. Close to the shops and eateries on the bay. Owner very accessible but also respects your privacy. Enjoyed my stay in Bay St. Louis!

Best weekend getaway in a long time

Joy and RJ are so sweet and accommodating. The cottage was immaculately clean and decorated perfectly. Location is great and it had everything we could’ve possibly needed. We will def stay with them again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Excellent choice

Would recommend this cottage. Cozy and clean with a nice garden area to enjoy as well as a screened in back porch for morning coffee. We loved the location. It was quiet, and felt safe and secure. Loved being able to walk 3/4 of a mile to the old town section of Bay St Louis to the shops, bars, and restaurants. Beach and pier were 1/4 away. Joy our host was friendly and helped with recommendations. Will definitely stay here again.

Fell in love

With Bay St Louis Old Town! Compass Rose is a short walk through beautiful peaceful oak lined streets to the beach and restaurants. Quiet and completely equipped for a short or longer stay, the cottage is comfortable and spotlessly clean. Comfortable bed, great shower and bath area. Terrific host and caretaker responded immediately when needed (smoke alarm battery). Highly recommended!
