"We found the staff and property to be excellent. They were very cooperative in allowing an early check-in. The room was excellent. The property had a bar and dining options which we both used and enjoyed. The breakfast was a complete menu for us to select from and was excellent. We had after dinner drinks and good discussions with the staff. The property itself was located within walking distance of the town and there was ample parking on site."

"Hotel overall seemed a little “tired” but ok for the price. The typical Irish black mold in the shower and sink. UBER thin walls: heard conversation in neighboring room and snoring at 4am …) Comfy bed. Breakfast was awesome. Woman who served the food had very little personality, bummer. Receptionist checking in was great (no one at desk at 9 am for check out)."

I felt very safe during my stay. The breakfast was delicious and there were a lot of different options. I regret not staying a few extra nights! Overall I loved my stay at Ach na Sheen and highly recommend it to other travellers, especially solo travellers"

"We had a wonderful four days in this LOVELY, COMFORTABLE holiday home. The host has been brilliant, setting up the contactless key box arrival for us which was seamless. The parking right outside the house, was great and Daragh responding to our enquiries during our stay. The house is deceptively spacious and after two weeks of hotel rooms it was so wonderful to walk into a fully equipped home with a comfortable lounge and great tv, a beautifully fully equipped kitchen and dining area as well as the utility room with washer and dryer facilities. Bedrooms and bathroom all beautifully furnished, beds made up in readiness for our arrival and everywhere tastefully furnished and sourness! We also LOVED garden leading out through French windows from the kitchen and the thoughtful seating out there. And a downstairs loo. We wanted for nothing. The kitchen catered for all our needs with crockery and cutlet, pans, etc as well as plenty of condiments. Honestly, we were sorry to leave! Do yourselves a favour and book this place "

"Had my wedding here in August and it was a DREAM!!! Sarah was the most wonderful host possible and made planning a wedding from the States a breeze. The estate is absolutely phenomenal. So much character and history, you will be in awe. You feel like you're in a movie. I did almost no decor for my wedding because the venue itself takes care of everything. The house is spotless and so comfortable. There's stunning views from every angle & window. As an American who isn't a fan of Irish food, this is the best cooking I've EVER had in Ireland (sorry to my Irish family) I still think about the food constantly. Sarah is extremely accommodating to her guest and just an absolute joy to be around. Truly no words can do this place and my experience justice. Pictures don't even do this place justice. this house has everything you could possibly need and is a very short walk into town as well. There's so much to do on the property and kids will have a blast there especially with all the animals! This was such a magical stay for me and made my wedding so special. In the future when I go back to Ireland, even though I have a place to stay with my family, I will make sure to stay at least one night back at the Lismacue house to see Sarah and think about how dreamy my wedding was. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING LISMACUE HOUSE & STAFF!!!!!♥♥♥♥ The best of the best!!"
