Still Steel Beachin' - Waterfront Beach Cottage on the ICW

Welcome to Still Steel Beachin'!

This cute cottage is clean and comfortable! Perfect for a couple, small family or a few friends to enjoy some time on the coast.

Located on the Intercoastal Waterway, the views and fishing are hard to beat. You are sure to love watching the barges, pelicans and dolphins go by in the ICW. Walk just across the street to get to the beach too!

The home has 1 bedroom and 1 full bathroom upstairs. The sofa is a pullout bed and there is also a foldout floor mattress that is great for children. There is a full kitchen with all of the basics, as well as wifi and Smart TV.

On the ground level, there is an outdoor shower with privacy walls. There is a bathroom and washer/dryer combo in the ground level room as well.

Private pier equipped with green fishing light and cleaning station.

There is a charcoal grill available for guests, as well as outdoor seating and a chiminea!

Great little spot!

We really enjoyed it. Fishing was as expected for this time of year, but we still had fun. Crab traps were a hit with the kids. Having the ICW in the back yard and the beach across the street was perfect.

We will definitely come back to this place. The home was perfect, cute, comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. The covered dock was great to hangout on and fish from, with green light, seating, and cleaning station. The beach was right across the road. Hosts were great and even gave us fishing tips!! So much fun!!

Yearly family trip

We had a fantastic time. We spent the day at the beach and evenings on the dock fishing. We caught enough crabs for a small boil. Everyone also caught at least one fish. Trip was successful! Can’t wait till next year.

A little piece of peace

This place was the perfect spot for us to get away for a little while to reconnect. We don't fish much, but it's a perfect spot if you do. I thought we'd spend most of our time on the beach, but my absolute favorite was sitting on the dock of the waterway watching the sun set every night. The view looks over the water and the marshes across the way and it is so quiet but teeming with life-- birds, butterflies, and dragonflies. Can't wait to go back.

Great quick fishing trip

My son and I stayed for a couple of nights and had a great time. House is a comfy fishing cabin-like place that has all essentials (except shower soap & shampoo! Haha), thankfully I had spares. Bed and pull out couch were comfortable and we slept well. Quiet area with little traffic, especially at night. Pier was the star of the show for my son and I. The cover on part of the pier was an absolute lifesaver to stay out of the sun as much as possible. The cleaning station is great and the lights at night were awesome. We used the on-site crab traps and caught 10 or so undersized blue crabs and maybe 5 keepers. Also caught a really nice sized stone crab and harvested a giant claw from that guy. We caught quite a few fish, a couple keeper trout, a keeper redfish, keeper flounder, and a few more barely undersized of each of those species along with a small black drum. Only one hardhead if you can believe that. I was pleasantly surprised. Thanks to the owners of this property for making it a great stay and we look forward to coming back and staying soon!

peaceful getaway

We enjoyed having our coffee on the front balcony facing the beach and sitting in the back facing the intercoastal canal. Liked that the beach was so easy to get to from the house. Had a great time fishing off the dock. We caught several fish. The house was clean and comfortable. All around great place to stay for a peaceful getaway.

We had the BEST time! The renovations are amazing. The cabin is beautiful and the perfect size for a couple of small family. The dock on the ICW was great for fishing and we caught some really large fish and dozens of small ones. Everything was clean and the bed is very comfortable. We will definitely be back!
