Fishing on Caney Creek

Property was very clean and well kept. The yard and pier were maintained nicely. The house was very clean and neat. The kitchen had everything we needed plus more. The bathrooms were clean and we had lots of towels. We had a wonderful time fishing and catching crabs. Our grandchildren pulled in so many fish. They loved it.

One of the best places I've been to

Really enjoyed the property. It was perfect for our group of 13. Very clean. Fishing was decent if you like small stuff. Neighbors told us to fish for speckled trout late under the lights, but we didn't get a chance to check. Kitchen is well stocked and beds super comfortable. A/C was good as long as the front door was kept closed. HEB is 30 minutes away, but there's a local dollar general. Absolutely would stay here again.

Relaxing Getaway

This vacation house was a great stay for a large group. Our whole family enjoyed the property!! It was clean and maintained properly. Keep the front door closed, otherwise the main area in the house will be hot and will take awhile to cool down. Overall, a very relaxing stay! I highly recommend!

Family get away

Beautiful location and home on a quiet canal, great fishing with lots of blue crabs. Walking distance to a boat ramp, great for fishing family. We will definitely return in the near future.

Interior was very neat and clean. A/C took awhile to bring temp down. Driveway area that met with the slab made it difficult to park under house. Outdoor faucet broke and could not run water off because main valve was rusted. We used a spray nozzle as a temporary fix. Host was understanding and communicated with us. Overall stay was good!

Thanksgiving/Birthday week

The house is not BRAND NEW it is a remodel and not finished. I had an accident at the home because of the mud holes in driveway, no response from host. Tv had to be on high to hear it. Not one smoke alarm, dryer connected with a extension cord, dishwasher not attached to the counter. Fish light out on pier and no roof on fishing cleaning table. Maintenance needed at this property. Grass was high upon arrival. Much nicer homes on the creek for rent

House was clean, ready for us to enjoy. Property had some debris, but understandable from the recent hurricane. Beautiful view. Fun and games for kids. Had a wonderful time
