Classic business hotel with large indoor pool

The location is a bit outside the city center, but you can park your car on the premises. Friendly staff, good beds and a huge fitness area with a large pool and sauna. The only negative point is the very poor internet.

Very good and modern Hotel with good service

The hotel is very good as described. Very clean, the size of the rooms is good. Situated at a very busy road, the windows should be better for more noise insulation. The personell is very friendly but appeared to be a bit "reserved" unlike our experiences in Giorgia.

Modern and clean premises. Comfy and large room. WiFi was the only negative thing; it was very slow and you weren’t always able to open up the simplest of websites.

Good overall, but improvements needed

Good stay overall, however it is a new hotel and some improvements could be achieved : no room service or spa menu in the room, hotel does not seem to like kids going to the swimming pool since we had to insist to see if they could go. If kids are not allowed this should be clearly stated at the time of the booking. Arcade room only opens at 11:00 , this is too late for kids. Small parking. Modern room and cleaning service was very efficient. You should request a room on the opposite side of the main road because it is very noisy otherwise.

Honestly, I did not feel welcomed at all during my stay. interacted with all three receptionists, and perhaps only one seemed remotely happy to help. This experience does a disservice to the Best Western brand, which I've previously associated with higher hospitality standards. To be fair, the hotel and its facilities were great -what you'd expect from a 4-star property. But if you're someone who values warm, attentive service, you may walk away disappointed after speaking with the staff. Having traveled to over 10 countries, this stay really made me question whether l'd choose Best Western again. Il'd like to believe the lack of hospitality was due to the staff working over Easter, but even then, that's not an excuse for being unwelcoming. I sincerely hope this gets addressed. Tourism in Georgia is still developing, and this kind of experience isn't the way to leave a good impression on travelers.

Batumi amazing but growing too fast

Beautiful big room, very clean and a wonderful bathroom, seemed newly renovated with an excellent flow of water for the shower. First class waiters in the dining room both for breakfast and one dinner. A big choice for breakfast with a very tasty Georgian salad freshly made. Dinner was delicious, excellent work by the chef. Wine and drinks were a bit expensive. A special thanks to the front desk manager and the receptionists who helped make our first visit to Batumi memorable.

Staff are not friendly. They serve you with a very unpleasant feeling. They charged us extra fees for my son while we already have a triple deluxe room. My reservation doesn't even include breakfast so why would they charge?! While we were there, some day in the morning someone "I believe from the cleaning staff as they had a key to the room" unexpectedly opened up the room door!! When the reception team was informed about this, they just said "sorry"
