"The check-in was amazing - thank you for your warm welcome, Beverly! The air conditioning in the bedrooms worked great. We loved having the beach within a 3-4 minute walk from the property. The grounds itself are beautiful and well maintained. The apartment is a bit dated. However, the daily cleaning service was great! The area around the property and leading to the beach is a bit dirty. But you can't beat the value of this place! Paradise Beach is one of the very best in Barbados and to have this property so close to it made up for the surrounding area not being perfect. "

"Great location with very nice renovated rooms, overall the property is lovely. Most staff is very friendly. Good pools for the kids along with a beautiful beach, nice loungers for both. Food qualify is good. Menu choices for a la carte are quite limited. Watersports options are great."

"Good:The view is spectacular! Almost worth the ugly of the stay. Fantastic sunsets. Many boats passing to keep you entertained during the day.Living area is large and open. Lots of windows for air flow (but a rotating floor fan would be great).Bedrooms are big with adequate space for your belongings, enough hangers, drawers. The beds are fairly comfortable.Air conditioning in the bedrooms worked very well.Internet was reliable.Washer is a bonus, as is the parking space.Fresh fish market only moments away.Bad:The place could use a freshening up like a new coat of paint and new loungers. The living area furniture is basic but suffices.The front door requires a bit of adjustment to close properly.No fault of the owner but the beach is quite limited (to be fair, you can see this in the photos) and there are lots of sea urchins so be careful where you walk in the water.Ugly:Rental is on a main road so you hear every vehicle passing by. Very loud between 6:00 am and midnight. There were times we had to stop our conversation because of the traffic noise.Water to the showers. It is an on demand situation that needs an upgrade. Once you get the hot water it’s a struggle to find a balance between cold and scalding with low pressure.Kitchen definitely not as advertised. Mismatched pots and pans, missing teflon. Mismatched dishes, cups, glasses, only 5 forks, 5 knives.A few dollars spent, this would be much improved, except traffic noise. Wish I could give better review."

"Great location and amenities. Wonderful beach right out the back gate. Building is a little dated but clean and decorated very nicely. Mario was a great host and very helpful. Arlene the cleaner and her daughter were very nice and friendly as well as very diligent at cleaning. We would certainly stay again. "

"We did not stay in the end because it was very moldy and dirty. Next to a very large construction site, garbage all over the curb, very large rat crawling on the side of the building, now window coverings in the bathroom overlooking the construction site, which was still active at 8pm!! No soap or shampoo, very misleading description in the ad. Don’t stay, still waiting on a response from VRBO for a refund "
