"Beautiful property, everyone who appreciates architecture will enjoy it. We stayed in the premium king room facing the street. It was quiet. The area is very walkable. The breakfast was nice, a lot of variety, amazing pastries. They also offer afternoon tea, which we tried once and champagne at 6pm. Overall it was a very pleasant stay. I would rate this property at 4.5 stars."

"Cozy, like staying at the home of your loving grandmother. Woke up to the smell of breakfast cooking in the kitchen downstairs. It was a lovely weekend getaway. "

"The hotel was nice. It’s located in the city so it’s near everything but valet was a must because street parking is spare. The room was very small but it was cute. "
"Staff were very friendly, the hotel was modern and clean, and the beds were comfy. Close to all the cool stuff like the riverfront, and Historic Downtown Savannah. "
"Best hotel stay! The room was perfect, great size, clean, nice view of the city and the river. Staff were warm and helpful. I would definitely book there again."
"We really enjoyed the DeSoto. I attended a professional conference there and found the lodging and conference rooms excellent as well as it was really terrific banquet food!"

"Wonderful overnight stay, near all the top spots in Downtown Savannah- shopping, River Street, Savannah Civic Center, and tons of restaurants. The best part is you can walk to all of the above. Recommend purchasing parking in advance."
"We loved every bit of our stay here. We got the deluxe suite & it was a fantastic room, excellent staff, great amenities, & super location.
We loved the smores, in room snacks, sodas, & water, as well as the nearby attractions.
It was our first time in Savannah & this made the trip even more memorable! "
"The Thompson is a beautiful hotel on a good location. Great rooftop bar. Staff is friendly and attentive. Our room was a corner location with a river view. It did not disappoint. Place is per friendly and unlike most, does not charge a fee. Shoos and restaurants were a 10 minute walk along the river."
