Absolutely the best! Everything was perfect. Only minutes away from River Center for bowling and lots of places to see and eat within 15-30 minutes. Don’t miss out on this wonderful little house in a quiet neighborhood.
Very clean property with plenty of supplies. Communication was very good with owner when we had a question. Would stay again.

Very comfortable and met our needs…spacious for 5 people. Enjoyed the open space and the warmth of the electric fireplaces since the weather outside was chilly!
The place was nice and clean, well maintained and very comfortable. The host was excellent to work with and helped us with our needs. The location was great access to downtown and the sports center.
The home was exactly as advertised, but with a few pleasant surprises… heater/fan in bathrooms, high quality toiletries, well-equipped kitchen, super easy check-in/out.
Great place! Everything was perfect. The place is super nice, clean and well kept. Ashley is an excellent host and very quick to answer any message sent. Even the extra touches - water in fridge, ice in the freezer and a little snack on the counter, etc. - made our stay even better!! Thank you!
This charming home has been lovingly updated and has all the amenities you need, plus off-street parking. It’s comfortable and conveniently located close to many downtown or LSU-area restaurants and activities. A great stay!
Great place!!! Beautifully done still maintaining its original charm! We will definitely stay again, very clean, owner was very responsive and she added such nice things as fresh fruit, bottled water, and coffee
We had a lovely time. Neighborhood is quiet and the description of the house is completely accurate. First time being in Baton Rogue and it will not be our last!
We had a fantastic stay! The property was absolutely perfect in terms of location—close to everything we needed. The house was spotless and very well-maintained. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly, which made us feel right at home. One of our favorite features was the front porch with rocking chairs—it was so peaceful and relaxing. The grandparents especially enjoyed sitting out there in the mornings, listening to all the birds. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would definitely stay here again!
The house was perfect for our family of 3. We were close enough to LSU so the drive everyday wasn’t bad. Neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed the local restaurants nearby! The Host was very responsive. We’d stay here again!
We enjoyed staying in this super clean historic little cottage! It met all of our needs and was spacious enough for 4 adults, 2 children and an infant. It was convenient to the LSU campus where we spent most of our weekend. The beds were comfortable and the front porch rockers were great for relaxing with coffee. The house was well stocked with linens and kitchen supplies. We would definitely stay here again!
Thank you for the use of this great property! It was perfectly located and comfortable! The only thing is, right above the door into the master bedroom door outside, it’s a wasp nest! They never messed with us but wanted to let you know. Thank you again! Hope to visit again
Our family had a great weekend. We came in town for the LSU football game. Home was cozy and had everything we needed. Close to campus, shops, and restaurants. We did enjoy the front porch in the evenings too.

This home was absolutely marvelous; southern charm of the idyllic front porch, tastefully paired with two porch rockers over-looking the sleepy street. The front beds are overflowing with flowering bushes and crepe Myrtle’s line the sidewalks for early morning walks.
Once inside the house you’re greeted with an open floor plan, the master bedroom off to the right, quaint living room with a large live potted plant in the corner. The kitchen is equipped with every utensil, spice, & tool you could ever need. One thing I found incredibly helpful, was every switch was labeled, there was no guess work required, it really added an additional layer of ease for us; the guest (the owner truly emphasized that we were her guests).
Every space was decorated with meticulous thought and care. Each room felt seamless into the next. Artwork; local and international, hung on the walls in an unassuming way. Large floor to ceiling curtains lined the bedroom walls, providing a feel of luxury. The beds were layered with sheets a down comforter duvet and a heavy yet thin blanket, perfect to wrap up with on the couch.
The master bath felt like walking into the Carlyle hotel, with a marble and black mosaic tiling on the floors and large Carrara marble tiles along the walls. A large soaking tub sits next to a glass encased rain shower, in front of two large windows; exuding with natural light.
In short; we had the perfect host who spoiled her guests in luxury & the most charming home.
This is the only place I want to stay in BTR moving forward. Every single thing is perfect in this clean fresh bright beautifully thought out stay. That includes, hands down, the best VRBO hosts in history. 10/10
Ashley was amazing and provided every amenity. The unit was clean and supplies were abundant. The environment was warm and cozy. I loved the porch with the rocking chairs and the cozy fireplace ,and the kitchen was amazingly stocked. I will rent this beautiful cottage again when I come back to Baton Rouge thank you Ashley.
