Need to getaway from the hustle and bustle of every day life? No need to look any further. This one bedroom condo located on the banks of the Smith River is the answer. The modern style condo sleeps 3 and is only minutes away from Philpott Lake or Martinsville. Relax in the cozy condo or go on a float trip, kayaking or canoeing. Fly fishing is also pretty amazing on the Smith River. Whatever you enjoy, the Damselfly condo will make a great home base for to relax after a fun-filled day. There is construction being done on the unit below. During the day, between 9-5 you may hear construction noise.

I'm not sure where my first review went. The picture of the rental is accurate however it does not depict a mattress that pretty much is on the floor. The floor is very wavy making you feel unsteady. The couch was also low and hard as a rock. The smith river behind the house is barely visibleThe worst part is the entry. Nowhere does it mention there are 18 steep steps to entry. The apt building is surrounded by a huge green construction dumpster, a church located in a modular house and active train tracks across the street. There really is nothing in Bassett I would NOT recommend this place to anyone w a mobility issue
