TERRE DE HAUT

"On the positive side, we enjoyed meeting our hostess on site and the unit was very clean. However, it was very basic relative to other places we stayed. No coffee, water or other touches. The main fan was very loud. And the air conditioning was automated to turn on only for a few hours at night in the bedroom. Top Basse-Terre Hotel Reviews

Les Galets Rouges Lodges & Spa

10/10 Excellent

"One hour by car via a wonderful lush mountain pass, les galets rouges is an oasis of calm and refinement on the caribbean sea, gorgeous sunset on waterfront nearby."

HOTEL BOIS JOLI

8/10 Good

"Room and bathroom was beautiful and spacious. Very nice deck area attached to the room with gorgeous views. More breeze than downtown since it's up the hill a little. Walk to rooms is uphilk plus a flight of stairs. Beach is small but has great snorkeling. Large pool and 2 outdoor showers as well as changing rooms. Unfortunately the restaurant is closed Tuesdays and Wednesdays which was when we visited. They did however provide the shuttle for free those evenings to access other restaurants. Breakfast was included and excellent: scrambled eggs, a variety of fruits, cheese, ham, a variety of pastries and fruit juices. Lots of ants, which they eventually sprayed but didn't clean up so that was a little gross."

Old family home renovated for holidaymakers

10/10 Excellent

Between luxury and authenticity. Beautiful sea view property, 100m from the beach.

10/10 Excellent

"We truly enjoyed staying at villa Karumaya. The house is beautiful and the view is stunning. The balcony is amazing. The landscaping is gorgeous and well maintained. Property owner and management are extremely responsive, helpful and a joy to work with. I highly recommend staying at this villa."
