"We had a wonderful stay at Odyssey Villa in Escaleras. The drive is an adventure, but once you arrive, the house and views are absolutely stunning—photos truly don’t do it justice. "We spent a month here and enjoyed every minute. Wonderful location to take day trips to waterfalls or beaches and then returning to peace and solitude. Regularly saw toucans (two kinds), hummingbirds (four kinds), coatimundi, agouti, parrots of all colors, and butterflies galore. Owner is quick to respond to questions and requests. Would definitely stay here again."
