About this property
Private 75-Acre Dome Estate: Waterfall, Farm, Trails & Pacific Views
Welcome to The Sanctuary on Love’s Farm, a private mountain estate in Pérez Zeledón where architecture, water, land and daily life come together in one secluded world.
Set across approximately 75 acres, The Sanctuary is designed for guests seeking more than a conventional villa. The estate pairs sculptural dome architecture with expansive mountain views, an approximately 60-foot private waterfall, a working regenerative farm, a fruit orchard, and private roads and rainforest trails leading through the river corridor and toward the mountain summit.
The Residence The approximately 4,200-square-foot residence offers one bedroom and two bathrooms, with curved forms, warm natural materials and expansive geometric glass that keeps the landscape present throughout the day.
The central gathering space is designed around a dramatic interior water feature, creating a calm focal point from sunrise through evening. The kitchen is made for long, unhurried meals, with a generous island, natural finishes and views into the surrounding greenery. A Japanese-inspired dining alcove offers an intimate setting for tea, conversation or private dining.
The primary suite provides a quiet retreat beneath the dome, with an integrated sitting area, bath and dressing space. Outdoors, a palm-framed fire-pit lounge creates a memorable place to gather as the sun sets over the mountains.
Water, Forest and Trails Water is at the heart of the estate. Follow the private trail system to the property’s natural waterfall, where multiple cascades descend through the rainforest along the river corridor.
The land can be explored on foot, while horseback and ATV experiences may be arranged subject to availability and separate terms. From pasture and orchard to forest and summit viewpoints, the full estate becomes part of the stay.
A Regenerative Working Estate The landmark black barn anchors a working landscape with horses, cattle, pigs, chickens and laying hens. The farm is managed using regenerative practices, without synthetic pesticides or chemical fertilizers.
Coconut palms, banana, guava, lemon and other fruit trees grow throughout the property, creating an edible landscape that changes with the seasons.
The farm is part of the estate’s character rather than a staged attraction. Guests experience the rhythms of a living property—animals in the pasture, fruit ripening in the orchard, birds moving through the canopy and mist lifting from the mountains in the morning. Farm visits, animal interactions and seasonal produce are subject to staff guidance and availability.
Off-Grid by Design The Sanctuary is fully off-grid, powered by solar energy with backup generators. Three natural springs provide the estate’s water source.
These independent systems allow the property to remain deeply connected to its setting while supporting a comfortable private stay. As with any off-grid estate, thoughtful use of power and water is appreciated.
Private, Immersive and Entirely Yours The estate is offered as a private whole-property experience. It is well suited to families, multigenerational gatherings, close groups of friends, executive retreats and wellness stays seeking privacy, nature and room to reconnect.
The atmosphere is quiet and immersive: mornings begin with mountain light and birdsong; afternoons invite waterfall walks, trail exploration or time at the farm; evenings unfold around the fire beneath the palms.
Location The Sanctuary is approximately: 40 minutes from San Isidro 45 minutes from Dominical 60 minutes from Uvita 70 minutes from Quepos Airport 3½ hours from San José International Airport
Drive times are approximate and vary with weather, traffic and mountain-road conditions. A capable 4x4 vehicle is strongly recommended.
