As it was the Ascention weekend there were no taxis available so the hotel manager Eric kindly gave us a lift into town to a greek restaurant. You can reach the innercity of Greifswald by bus - about 25 minutes away."

"One of the best hotels I stayed in. Everything was perfect. The breakfast was outstanding! It had everything you could ever want. And if it wasn't there, the great staff was willing to get it for you. Unfortunately, we stayed only one night. Anklam itself is not very exciting, but it seems to be nice for outdoor activities."

"It is a lovely hotel located outside the city. We especially enjoyed dinner in the restaurant where we had authentic German food. Our only concern was that it was hot outside and the room did not have air conditioning. We opened the windows and there was a beautiful breeze, but the flies kept coming in! I’d give the hotel 5 stars if they had screens on the windows."
