"Very mixed. Big house, lovely pool, well appointed kitchen, nice locale. However, the house manager was very contentious from the start, not very responsive, and definitely not interested in making our stay comfortable (no toilet paper or soap in the entire house when we arrived after a trans Atlantic flight, some dirty towels and argued about giving us more, lots of threats of additional charges, etc). She accused us of breaking a sun umbrella upon checkout that was broken when we arrived....

"We had two fantastic weeks at this beautiful home in the south of France. The house was great, extremely clean and well kitted out with everything we needed. "This large place is on the second floor of lovely stone house in the countryside just outside of Chateaurenard. It is very quiet and has a beautiful sunny deck on which we enjoyed several breakfasts and dinners. We could see 3 horses relaxing in the field outside our bedroom window and tried to greet the owner’s 2 cats. The owners were very hospitable and were kindly patient with my horrible French. "As our first venture to Provence, we could not have picked a better family home to stay in. Claude and his wife were great hosts and everything we needed as a family with a toddler was available. St Remy was a lovely visit and the market day on Wednesday was a real treat. We could not find any fault with the place and spoke with Claude on our lat night (over a glass of Cremant) about returning next year!"
