Good but Staff Please Be Quiet in the Morning !

The hotel is nice. The service was good EXCEPT for all the noise in the morning. The first morning I thought it was some noisy hotel guests. The second morning I realized that it was the hotel staff. It seems to be a family run hotel and when they wake up at 6 am it appears that they believe everyone in the hotel is awake. The kitchen was very loud at 6 am the second morning and I went out in the hallway and spoke to the receptionist. They quieted down that morning and the next. The male receptionist is a nice guy who will give you tips on places to go but he forgets the walls are thin and that his singing and whistling can be heard by everyone. He particularly likes to whistle the theme from Kill Bill. Nice but not at 7 am. A girl receptionist shows up at 9 am and often uses her speaker phone so we can all hear her conversation while it prevents us from sleeping. My hope is the staff shapes up before 12 am. The rest of the day they are great. I will stay here again 1 night to see if things are better in the morning.

Lo que no nos gusto del hotel fue las instalaciones ( las habitaciones eran muy pequeñas) y la ubicación del hotel en Barranquilla, no estaba cerca de centros comerciales o de muchos otros atractivos turísticos. Solo estaba cerca al malecón y al zoológico.

Bien en gral

Mi experiencia fue buena. Buena recepción , personal amable. No hay una recepción como.tal y siempre hay golpear para entrar lo que llega a ser molesto. La habitación es acogedora y bien equipada habían problemas de aseo pero nada de otro planeta.

Buenas instalaciones y buen servicio..lo que no me gusto es que sólo se puede pagar en efectivo,no hay datafanos y lo otro es que no pague lo,que decía por esta página..pague 140.000 donde decía que eran 125.000 deberían estar seguro con que hoteles y hostales tienen convenio..supuestamente por ser socio y va a cancelar un precio secreto

Excellent hotel and hosts

This is a no-frills hostel. The price is great and it is excellent value for the money. The rooms are impeccably clean, the beds are new and very comfortable. The hosts, Hector, Nancy and David, will treat you as if you were part of their family. They are warm, supportive, hospitable and will do everything to make your stay great. Nancy is an amazing cook, Hector will make jokes with you in Spanish, and David takes care of all the bookings and customer satisfaction. I recommend that you try the typical Colombian breakfast cooked by Nancy. You will not be disappointed. Highly recommended!
