Read all the small print or else

Apparently I had to check in between 2-3pm ONLY. This, unusual and obviously critical information was burried towards the end of the standard terms and conditions. So at 6pm when I arrived, there was no room and at that time an alternative on the Saturday of Carnaval was ridiculously expensive. 1. If you have an unusual policy you have to make it clear to your guests. 2. If you do then cancel a confirmed booking you must let the person know. I spent a lot of time/ money getting a taxi to the hotel to then spend even more getting one to the new hotel.

Its like back in the days, I lived better growing up in 1970s. I kind of figured that is was not decent, but i didnt thinf it was that bad. The furnitures look like something from the dumpsters. I couldn't get the TV to work, so i had to get someone to fix it. Then the back of the remote was gone so the batteries doesnt stay in. Wi-fi was good. One towel so if you like to get in the shower you have to use the towel more than once. One mini bar od soap, thats it, but I carry my shower gel with me. I was just there for the carnival in Barranquilla, so I wasnt concerned because i wasnt foing to spend much time in the room anyway. Good thing, I only booked one night. I checked in, shower got dressed leave out, a d didn't return until 8am next morning. I dont even think they clean the bed linen properly. Yes it was terrible. Oh, and I reserved the room on expedia.com for $108, then i get there and they claim is pay later, and i ended up paying $125 even after she asked to show the reservation. They only get one star because I had to pick an option. I usually don't give reviews, but this was terrible and unacceptable Es como en aquellos tiempos, viví mejor cuando crecí en los años 70

The place is nothing like the pictures. They fisrt gave me a room that had no toilet sit ! Dirty floor and the fan looked like had never been cleaned before. The breakfast was poor. The overall experience was not great. The hotel needs way better cleaning and to be repainted. It looks like an abandoned place

No Frills Hotel

If you're looking for a room with a bed, a.c., and a t.v. then you've found the place. We came durring carnival so I don't know how accurate our stay would be compared a non holiday stay but it was okay. I would suggest skipping the free breakfast and finding a decent meal somewhere else and taking a taxi is cheaper than taking their airport shuttle.There was an extra $20 charge to use a credit card once we arrived, which would have been nice to know about beforehand. The staff was great and very helpful! If you're looking for a room with a bed and nice ppl than this is the place

Nice place and good staff

The place is in excellent condition and good location, however there are stairs only no elevator and I was on the top (4th) floor--good exercise.

Great service during Carnaval

Clean Hotel with a great staff/owner. The rooms were clean and not extraordinary but the staff made it great. They spent over an hour helping me plan 2 day trips. Neighborhood can be a bit sketchy late at night.
