"This hotel provides a clean, quiet room, with good beds, linens, and pillows - that's the most important thing. Microwave and fridge in room is nice. Breakfast was decent including waffles, microwave breakfast sandwiches, cereal, toast, bagels, fruit, yogurt, and oatmeal. Front desk was friendly and helpful. But the property is quirky. It's an older building - the floors are slightly uneven, and one of the tiles in the entryway to our room was cracked. The building is built into the side of a hill. There's no elevator. The front desk / lobby is tiny. You have to navigate steps down from the parking lot into the property. The pool was cold and showing its age. But we got a good night sleep, enjoyed the TV in our room, and then were on our way to visit Spirit Mountain Adventure Park the next morning, which was only a few minutes away. So it did the trick. In general, in the future, I would avoid Duluth entirely - it seems like the hotels are extremely expensive in this area for no reason."
