Beautiful Riverfront Getaway in the Cascade Mountains

"We were amazed at the beauty of this location. The “Cabin in the Sky” is charming and well appointed with everything we needed. The cabin is obviously well loved and cared for. It’s quite the treasure. The town of Index is rich with local history and a testimony to the hard work of those who preceded us. Then there’s the mountains!! Must have taken 30 photos at different times of the day. Will enjoy editing them and sharing them with friends and family. We were very impressed with how well the owner communicated with us, making for a problem free arrival and departure. We hope to return sometime when those mountains are covered with snow."

"For a second year, this place was our base camp as we hiked the area! Peace, nature, and seclusion make this place special. The fire pit and hot tub were our favorite amenities. The process was smooth and the host communicated well. Hope to return again!"

"It was absolutely the most perfect stay. The cabin is absolutely adorable. It has everything you need. The kitchen is great. You can cook in it. It's nice and open. We had a lot of fun cooking in it. The property is beautiful it's peaceful and quiet. It's a great place to spend with someone that you adore.The hot tub is absolutely perfect. We had so much fun looking up at the stars every night. That's my favorite part. The bed is also very comfortable .There is absolutely nothing that I didn't like about it. I recommend it to anyone. We will absolutely be coming back. Thank you for the amazing stay and the amazing cabin."
