Booked a standard superior room but was given an accessible room instead without notice in advance.

Overall, our stay at the Palazzo was "ok", but there were several aspects of the experience that were disappointing. My biggest concern was the substantial incidental hold placed on our debit card at check-in. This was not explained to us at check-in. We stayed five nights, and the Palazzo placed a $750 hold ($150 per night) on our card. We don't charge purchases to our room, so having that amount of our available funds tied up for the duration of our stay was inconvenient. Ironically, we were forced to charge purchases to the room this trip since what little available funds we had left were for expenses outside the Palazzo. We also experienced a complete water outage for more than an hour during our stay. Unfortunately, this occurred while we were getting ready for a 2:00 p.m. show at the Sphere. I was in the middle of a shower when the water stopped and had to rinse the soap off using bottled water we happened to have in the room. While I understand unexpected issues can occur, this was a significant inconvenience, especially at a luxury resort.

Generally a great hotel. Small casino floor in the Palazzo but you have the Venetian too. Great pools and gym facilities, especially in the Venetian. Good range of (over priced) food and what I think is the best themed shopping mall in Vegas. The only negatives would be the typical Las Vegas Strip tax making everything eye watering expensive and what seems like an approach to smoking from the 1950's, seems crazy in this day and age that smoking is still allowed in the hotels, at least have sectioned areas for smoking so the rest of us are not forced into second hand smoking.

Amazing stay! Rooms were large and clean. Restaurants were awesome. Would definitely stay again.
