Country House 'La Casa Grande' with Fireplace, Patio with Barbecue and Wi-Fi

La Casa Grande is a restored traditional village house in the heart of El Barco de Ávila's historic centre, in the northern Sierra de Gredos and just steps from the River Tormes. It is ideal for families and groups of up to 8 guests.



The ground floor has a spacious living room with a fireplace and an open-plan kitchen with a dining area, a full bathroom, and a patio with a barbecue and views of El Barco Castle. Upstairs are four bedrooms (two with a double bed and two with two single beds each) and another full bathroom with a bathtub.



The house offers heating, free Wi-Fi, a TV, a washing machine, bed linen and towels, and free private parking. An extra bed is available on request for an additional fee.



El Barco de Ávila is a town with a rich architectural heritage, including its town walls, castle, churches and main square. Supermarkets, bars, restaurants, a pharmacy and a medical centre are all a few minutes' walk away. It is an ideal base for hiking, horse riding, outdoor activities and swimming in the River Tormes, as well as exploring the Sierra de Gredos, the Jerte Valley (17 km) or the Garganta de los Infiernos (26 km). Don't leave without trying the famous El Barco beans, Tormes trout and Ávila beef.
