"The location is excellent, right in the heart of downtown, though parking can be difficult. The area gets very busy with tourists arriving for boat tours, rafting, and kayaking.
At the town entrance, there was a man who appeared to be directing traffic, but he was actually filtering people to sell tours. When we tried to check into our hotel, he was quite aggressive and verbally abusive. Once he realized we were hotel guests, he allowed us to park, as it seems he works for the hotel....
"This is a lovely hotel which is small and privately owned by a lovely couple who were so helpful and friendly. Our apartment was beautifully clean and furnished. We sat on the balcony to enjoy the lovely view of the beach and the countryside. Very relaxing and, being the end of the season, only 2 restaurants close by were open but both were excellent."
"Absolutely stunning views and Family room was a great size.
Dining is not very child based and expensive but nice for adults.
We did have issues with the hot water but I suspect we did this ourselves!"
