Very nice house but finicky owners
The house is nice and spacious with beautiful views. It's an old house and the bathrooms could use a renovation. Extra sheets and towels would also be nice but the kitchen is well-stocked. My frustration with the stay is that, despite our best efforts to take good care of the property, the owners claimed there was water damage on one of the window sills from us. There was a lot of rain during our stay and it's an old house so water could have leaked in, but we were careful to close the windows when it rained. I would hesitate to rent a house like this when normal wear and tear or the prior condition of the house could be blamed on the renter.

Good location- close to Acadia, beautiful ocean view
The location was great- short drive to bar harbor, Acadia, and lovely sunrise right from the house. Home had beautiful glass windows from the living room and dining room where we could sit and enjoy the ocean view. For the price point, the property was a little more tired than I expected and you can really only swim from the rocky beach at high tide due to the larger rocks (and seaweed attached). Overall, a nice stay with our family.

Spacious, Beautiful, and Peaceful
Photographs usually don’t do justice. That is certainly the case with this VRBO home. The home itself was a destination all of its own for our trip. My spouse and I met my two sisters and their spouses. We all come from different states (CA, TX, and SC) so spending quality time with each other was of most importance. The home provided several gathering places, with amazing views and amenities and provided lots of space to allow for quiet alone time with our spouses. Such a peaceful and beautiful environment.

Perfect "Get-Away"
Extraordinary setting. Gorgeous interior design. Large enough for 2 families. Unusually well equipped kitchen with supplies and essentials. Very close to Arcadia National Park. Private. Immaculate. I rarely provide ratings. This property deserves the highest rating.

Spectacular views, ideal location to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park.
Spectacular views, ideal location to Bar Harbor and Acadia National Park. Access to a private beach was awesome. A few hot and humid days could have benefitted from air conditioning but plenty of windows and fans to utilize throughout the home. Ideal place for the eight of us to enjoy each other’s company and use as home base to explore the surrounding area.

Wonderful week at the Lookout house in Hulls Cove
The Lookout house privded a memorable & relaxing vacation experience for our extended family. The house has a very warm & cozy feel with incredible views from different angles. We enjoyed getting up to witness the sunrise every morning on the private beach and had several family meals on the outside patio. With Bar Harbor and Acadia just a short drive away, the house provides a great balance of privacy with easy access to many activities. We look forward to returning to Lookout point next year!

A Home away from Home in Hull's Cove
Location, location, location. Very near an entrance to Acadia but out of the hustle bustle of Bar Harbor. Incredible views of seabirds, cruise ships, Nova Scotia ferry, lobster boats and kayakers plus unbelievable sunrises. House is a midcentury gem. Hull's Cove area restaurants recommended in the house notebook were good - especially C-Ray. More upscale restaurants such as Havanna, Blaze and Veranda could be found in Bar Harbor. Our grandkids loved the ice cream stores such as Udder Heaven and CJs (they wanted to try everyone but we're saving some for the next trip). Home was well furnished with lots of art and the kitchen equipment and supplies were abundant. Veena was very responsive. We hope to return next year!

Fabulous house in every way
The house and property are even better than the description. Hills Cove is a Perfect location for visiting Acadia National Park. The house was large enough for six adults and two kids. The Kitchen was well-stocked and convenient for several people to assist in preparing meals. The house is beautiful and comfortable, private and extremely well located for fabulous views. Veena, the manager, was helpful and responsive and made us feel welcome in every way. Our adult kids said it was the best rental house we have ever found! Truly a very special family vacation spot.
