The Chateau Hotel/Resort was way better in every respect than we ever could have expected. From its splendid "palatial" construction to its more than comprehensive resort facilities (tennis & badminton courts, indoor/outdoor pools, gym, wellness centre etc etc to its wonderfully helpful and friendly staff as well as its quality Chinese (Shanghai style) restaurant. Set in a quiet leafy area about 6 kms from the city centre it was refreshing to hear the birds singing from our balcony in the morning .. Geoff & Annie from Melbourne Australia

The location is great - only a few blocks from the Bund and walking district. The customer services are above and beyond. I was taken care of by the great staff, including a food delivery services, when I got to the hotel late at night. The manager even provided stain remover! Overall I was very satisfied by their great services

"Very geand hotel that is well kept despite being a bit aged. Very impressive foyer and accessibility by the lifts is exceptional. Very good location wirh walking distance to a lot of sights. Plenty of small supermarkets nearby as are some great restaurants. Reception try to over promote the "upgrades" ..."
