This hotel wasn't not the cheapest but well worth the money. The front desk was very helpful and the room was great. It is great for families and groups traveling together.

Susanna the general manager was very professional and helpful throughout my stay. She arranged reliable transportation for day trips and to the airport. She made great suggestions on local good and activities. The spa is lovely, Turkish baths, cold plunge, hot tub, several therapeutic massage options. Just a great stay in Baños at Isla with Susanna.

Exceptional stay

The hotel is very cozy. It has an unusual design and character. Or shall I say it is just charming. We had a suite with a large sitting area that had 2 couches, a coffee table, fridge and a balcony. The beds and pillows were comfortable. Towels and bed sheets were new. And there was also a huge bathroom with a shower and jacuzzi. The staff was very sweet and accommodating. We had a free breakfast and it was very good. The views from the hotel are breathtaking and the waterfall and Termas de la Virgen were in a walking distance.

The staff at this hotel is amazing, super helpful with all of our questions and excursions. The included breakfast was excellent. It was central and walking distance to restaurants, the central district and cathedrals, but on a deadend side street so there was little traffic noise.

This is nice little place with an exceptional friendly and helpful staff. The breakfasts are quite nice and the staff wants to make sure you get what you need. The place is just a couple blocks from the town center and perhaps a hundred yards from hiking paths. Most importantly they have a beautiful garden with lots pf orchids. It’s a very nice place.

Con problemas de Alcantarillado, que molesta

Estuve alojado 2 noches, la primera bien. El segundo día, no colocaron jabones ni dejaron las botellas con agua que hubo el primer día. Adicional, utilizamos dos cuartos, y en ambos se obstruyó el sanitario y la ducha. Al parecer tienen problemas de alcantarillado. Esto generó problemas, porque se inundaba el baño.

El servicio del hotel es bueno, lamentablemente, cobran comisión adicional del 5% si pagas con Tarjeta de Creédito, por lo que debí cancelar de contado. Tiene problemas de desague de aguas negras, y se obstruyó el sanitario y la ducha.

The hotel has paper thin walls. We could hear literally everything in our neighbor’s room. On top of it, our neighbors decided to listen to music from 10 PM to midnight so we had to share this“delight” with them. Also, the hotel doesn’t have any basic things in rooms such as hair dryer for example. The drainage in our shower was clogged so we had to stand in soapy water as we were taking shower. Additionally, the door in our room was very flimsy. We didn’t fell safe knowing it could be easily pushed i. It was a big mistase to stay there.

A sweet stay in Banos

This hotel is so cool! With lots of glass, you feel like you're in a jungle. There is beautiful landscaping around the property. We loved having a fire in the fireplace outside in the evenings. The staff is very kind and very helpful. They arranged the bikes for us, and helped us with a taxi. Breakfast was delicious! Room 7 has an amazing view of the town, mountains, and waterfall! Our shower had a little leak in it on the second day and they were so quick to provide a different room for us and solve the problem immediately. I highly recommend staying here! We loved it!

Nice place and walking distance to the town. The restaurant on the compound was also fantastic. We had the pleasure of being served by an excellent waitress Jacqueline. Overall a pleasant experience.
