"Had a really good stay at Courtyard by Marriott Melaka, check in was a breeze, the front office staffs are very friendlt, the room was clean and spacious, bathroom for the city view king bed had a bathub in it, strong water pressure from the showers, buffet breakfast was good too, enjoyed the pastries and coffee from the espresso machines. Their room service “at your service” was great, requested a firmer pillow and they delivered. Will definately return to this hotel if in Melaka."

A specail thank you to Maya at receiption, who make out check in smooh and welcoming. "The hotel is managed with a 24-hr check in counter with housekeeping on standby, Daily room cleaning or towel change is not provided unless if you request for it. The breakfast provides a wide variety and the food was fresh and delicious. One downside is the elevator crowd during peak hours where we had to wait a long time for the elevator to arrive and a long time inside the elevator to reach our floor. The hotel tried to mitigate the situation by having a staff to operate the elevator but I am unsure how effective this is. As such, all travellers should plan their timings to accomodate this added waiting time. Location wise, the hotel is located in a central area with plenty of food options around. A short taxi ride away will bring you to major attractions. Overall, I still think it is a good hotel to stay in even with the minor inconveniences."

"The Nest House is a small boutique hotel around a kilometer east of the old part (Chinatown/Jonker Walk) of Malacca. The hotel is off the main street, so it's quiet, and the property is well-designed and well-cared for. The staff are friendly and attentive and I had a great stay (just over a week). The hotel is shoes-off at the front door, and there's no gym or pool or restaurant or any of that. There are plenty of excellent food options nearby, including a shopping mall with a supermarket, and it's easy and inexpensive to get a Grab to Chinatown/Jonker where there are even more options. I would definitely stay again."

"The hotel is well-situated near some quaint coffee shops & sarabat shops with authentic Malaysian food. 😋😋 There’re stalls which open at night too. The hotel staff are all cheery & very helpful. I had called Housekeeping for an extra firm pillow & it was delivered in less than 10 minutes. 💫 Breakfast is also excellent with a wide variety & it is of good quality as well. The laksa is a must-try!! ❤️‍🔥 All in all, a wonderful stay here!! 朗Highly recommended!! 💞"
