"Beutiful hotel located on the pieceful West Back of Luxor. This property has the best views of the East and West banks of Luxor.
The staff are welcoming and very helpful, offering sunset Felucca rides, and transportation if needed.
The meals here are amazing.

"The manager here was so amazing and welcoming to us. He made sure our stay here was amazing from start to finish. We had to go to the airport early in the morning and was going to miss breakfast however he made us a breakfast box so that we weren’t starving in the morning when we went to the airport in addition to the great service at this resort, it was so beautiful staying here and I wish we got to stay longer. "

"Ahmed the hotel manager could not do enough for us. Everything we requested was no problem. He sent us a tour guide Mo who was excellent he was passionate about his home town Luxor and was very knowledgeable. Budget hotel with excellent staff. Would definitely recommend."

"This was our best hotel on our three week trip. The staff are very very helpful, kind and very tentative. It is located directly on the Nile river and there is a boat that takes you back and forth the sites. The rooms are wonderful and unique and we would have enjoyed staying longer. "

"Wow! What a gem!! Staff couldn’t be more helpful. Resort was immaculate. Pools were amazing , views of the valley of the kings.
Gorgeous spot on the river for dinner and drinks snd just chilling. Our room had views of the river and swimming pool and was the biggest hotel room I’ve ever seen!! "

"The staff at Sonesta St. George gets 5 stars! Special thanks to Clara with her help with our transportation needs even before check in and to Mr. Hany for the great welcome at check in. The room decor is a too ornate for our taste, but it was quiet with good sound proofing and provided us with good nights sleep with our comfortable bed. "

"This is our first time to Luxor and won’t be our last. My family and I have arrived from USA and Mr. Mostafa Mohammed gave us best experience. We arrived from the airport late night and he immediately checked us in and gave us a complimentary upgrade and dinner. He was also so quick at our checkout everything was smooth.
Mr. Hamam was also great at welcoming us and showing us our rooms.
The rooms are clean, the view is beautiful, staff are very helpful.
We will definitely come again. "

"Had an amazing stay at Jewel Howard Carter Hotel.
We had incredible service the entire time we were there - the staff were amazing and accomodating and had amazing recommendations the entire time.
Laundry service was available and great price.
Swimming pool was beautifully kept, they even had an organic farm with bananas, mangos and herbs.
It’s in a quieter area of Luxor, so if you’re wanting to explore East Bank (the busier side of the city) be prepared for slightly higher taxi fares back but it’s definitely worth the peace and quiet. We would happily come back, and recommend it to everyone. "
