"We had a fantastic stay in one of the beach villas. The beautiful beach with the surf was a stunning sight right from our room. The buffet breakfast was excellent. Most of all, we really enjoyed the sumptuous dinner at the White Box restaurant. Highly recommended. "

Die Altstadt zu Fuß erreichbar. Besonders hübsch entlang des Flusses mit kleinen hippen, einheimischen Kneipen. Es wird kaum Englisch gesprochen, aber auch das macht ja den Reiz des Reisens aus. "The room and hotel was just okay . Buffet breakfast was very limited. No egg station, no bacon, no yogurt., things that are in most other buffets even in Chanthaburi. A couple dishes in warming trays but all the food was cold or luke warm. No safe in the room, no iron available at the hotel when requested. Best part of the hotel is the swimming pool which was clean, large and also has a jacuzzi section in the pool."

"Our (2 adults, 1 child) stay at Maneechan was lovely, a very large resort in Chanthaburi. Excellent breakfast with Thai, Chinese and Western options including a great coffee. The pool is wonderful for children, however loud music is played from about midday on, and the rooms are not soundproofed, so not very relaxing either by the pool or in your room. Very clean and large rooms."

"This is a new hotel and very good value for money. Fantastic swimming pool, good breakfast, friendly staff. Only disappointing thing was the gym because a lot of the equipment looked old and there were some essential pieces missing. The huge pool made up for it. The hotel has a restaurant that we didn't try but will next time because it looks okay and there are not a lot of restaurants in the area, despite what Google Maps says."

"Although we enjoyed our stay here the overall impression of the hotel is that it really needs updating. The rooms were tired, with many issues such as dated curtains that were either open or closed. As we had a ground floor beach front villa this gave little/no privacy if the curtains were open. Net type curtains in the main bedroom at least would have improved this. The air-conditioning, although worked well, broke down whilst we were staying and leaked lots of water onto the bedroom...
