Toilet did'nt work

It would have been nice with a toilet that flush. At least after I informed the reception it was out of order. Food in the restaurant was over prized but really good for Bamako standards.

Le Relais is located close to most amenities. There is the Relax Restaurant next door with great Chawarma, Pizza, Sandwiches and a dessert section offering ice cream and cakes. There is a supermarket around the corner. The staff are amazing and very helpful. The owner is understanding and gave me a 6000frs discount after the rates had gone up. The hotel is really old though - the furniture and bathroom is very old and even when kept clean, it does not particularly look like it. The carpet on the floir is very worn out. Another thing I did not appreciate was smell of cigarettes permeating the hallways to the rooms and the reception, though it clearly states on the room doors no smoking. I can understand that woth the troubles in Mali from 2012, it has killed the tourism but there was no breakfast on offer and the eating room was dusty (Bamako is dusty and it is difficult to avoid it but still...) Price wise compared to most hotels, Le Relais was affordable. Mind you, hotels out here are not cheap if you are looking for a standard Europe chain hotel quality such as Holiday Inn.

Un bon séjour. Un personnel agréable et disciplin

Mon séjour fut agréable grâce à tout le personnel, du directeur au portier en passant par la réception, les cuisiniers et serveurs sans oublier le chauffeur de la navette pour l'aéroport. SIMPLENT FATASTIQUE!

Modesto, pero muy agradable

Es un hotel de muy buen precio. Es modesto, pero estoy disfrutando mucho estar aquí. Las habitaciones son muy limpias y el personal muy atento y amable. Paso mucho en las hamacas y mesas en el jardín. Además disponen de una piscina que está muy bien. Te puedes pasar día y noche fuera disfrutando del ambiente acogedor en el jardín. Por las noches preparan unas pizzas riquísimas en su propio de pizzas.
