Family/friend trip
Wonderful property with plenty of space for all to spread out. We had a great time in the pool, fishing and playing all kinds of yard games we brought with us. Ping pong tournament filled our only rainy day. Great outdoor spaces with a nice grill, our guys even enjoyed the smoker!

Beautiful Log Cabin Home
Our family enjoyed an extended weekend stay at this beautiful log cabin home. It is situated on a large, private, picturesque lot, with plenty of room for soccer and wiffle ball games, in addition to a swimming pool and a small, private pond, and ping pong! The home is well stocked with most anything you might need for a family vacation. The owner was very responsive to any contact we made.

A great place for a family gathering
This is a hidden paradise! We had plenty to do. It was quiet and peaceful. The accommodations were excellent. The host had the heated swimming pool ready for us and we were able to use it every day of our stay. Did I say the weather was perfect? You will need to bring ice as the large refrigerator/freezer does not have an icemaker. However, the Love's convenient store is only a few miles away and they have ice along with a small grocery and misc. store. There is a huge freezer in the garage so plenty of room for ice and other items. The pond is loaded with fish and there are plenty of fishing poles in the closet. The gazebo and dock are perfect for morning and evening quiet time to read and spend time with the Lord.

Enjoyable weekend with old friends

Beautiful log cabin!
5 friends and I (all in 70s) stayed for 5 days. Communication with the owner was very good and the property manager Nicole was amazing. We really enjoyed our relaxing stay and the saltwater pool. TIPS: We each were supplied with only one bath towel and one hand towel. No wash cloths were provided, so I suggest you bring your own if you plan on using more for the week. There IS a washer and dryer in house though that we used twice. The steps going into the utility room from the garage could use a hand rail as it was a little difficult for seniors to get up those steps. There are 4 twin beds - 2 in basement and 2 in loft area - mattresses are still in need of being improved- VERY uncomfortable. All in all it is a very nice home in a beautiful setting.

Relaxing and fun
The property was perfect for our family vacation! The cabin is beautiful and clean. My grandsons wanted to fish all day but took time out to enjoy the pool. Btw…they caught a snapping turtle! We went zip lining on our way to the cabin and also rented a pontoon boat on Buckeye Lake. We were able to enjoy other attractions in the area but really relax at the cabin. Asal was very friendly, helpful and easy to contact. Highly recommend!

Wonderful time at “Enchanted Cabin” with family
Our annual family (kids & grandkids) had a wonderful time ! The cabin was roomy & amazing, our grandkids loved the ping pong table, salt water pool, large yard for hand-hockey and the well-stocked pond for fishing (caught gobs of blue gill/pan fish, 2 catfish, 1 carp & a snapping turtle - all caught on bread) all returned to the pond. We grilled several evenings & also enjoyed several of the nearby attractions ! Only suggestion - the WiFi kept dropping our connections, but otherwise we had a fantastic time !!

Im sorry about the internet, frontier is the only company that provides internet to my cabin and I have the highest speed that we could get, 🤞 I keep asking other companies to bring their lines to this side of the street, as soon as they do we will upgrade. Perfect getaway!
Couldn't have asked for a more perfect place to spend the weekend with my family! There was something for everyone. It was like a little piece of paradise 20 minutes from downtown Columbus. We enjoyed canoeing and fishing in the stocked pond and playing yard games late into the evening. The house also had such great character and my kids had a blast exploring all the house had to offer. Was both comfortable and spacious. Would definitely rent again.

Hidden Gem
First off: These pictures do NOT do the property justice. It is extremely beautiful inside and out. Be prepared for scenic tranquility (with your neighbors occasional shooting practice!). It’s remote feeling with all the easy access to amenities you might need. You’re about ~10 minute drive to a stocked grocery store and 25 into Columbus. The house has tons of games, a foosball table, a gazebo with swing and tons of fishing equipment. There are lots of funny/interesting tchotchkes around the home and lots of Ohio football fan signage for those who are into that kinda thing. Some tips for upcoming guests: There is a fair bit of noise transfer from water pipes between floors so definitely bring earplugs to sleep. Also note that the basement room/ game room tends to be chillier and there are no additional blankets (in fact, most closet spaces are locked). The basement room (two twins) and the loft at the top of the stairs (a full) do not have access to a full bathroom when the other rooms’ (King, twin/full & full) doors are closed so the downstairs single toilet room is the only access point for basement/loft guests. Also, we suggest to bring some of your own towels. We were one short in our party and there were no additionals to be found. There is a solid washer/dryer onsite that we used throughout the weekend to ensure everyone had a towel when needed. We would also suggest bringing your own firewood (there is a lovely firepit), a full-size blender (there is one onsite but it is a ninja made for ~3 people) and purchasing liters of water for drinking/coffee (because the house is on well water - an acquired taste!). The kitchen has all the basics and a little more (spices, teas, flour, sugar, etc) but you’ll want to bring any perishables with you (butter, milk, eggs, etc). Last, were so excited for the heated pool and upstairs balcony sits but the owner informed us that March did not count as “pool season” and the balcony was closed for safety so we were unable to access those amenities as listed on the VRBO profile. We just wish our group hadn’t gotten its hopes up, brought swimsuits, etc so be forewarned! If you are looking for a fun, clean, and scenic getaway spot for your family/friend reunion, look no further.

Family Weekend
The property looked like the listing, it was great place for our family to all gather over New Years Eve. The property owner was easy to get in touch with and always responded to our questions within a few minutes. If there is one negative it would be the mattress in the upstairs bedroom ( the room with two single beds) it needs to be replaced, you can feel every coil, it actually feels like the box spring. The guest that slept in that room ended up sleeping in a recliner. Besides the bed issue, we all had a great time and were happy that we could spend time together.

Beautiful property
Beautiful property and house is beautiful! Would love to go again in the summer. Only down side is the heat was really uneven parts of the house were really hot and other parts were freezing. Also water pressure and temperature could be much higher.

As far as the water pressure, the entire system was updated in 2019; it’s unfortunately an unavoidable issue related to our well water system! Amazing Property
My family and I stayed at this property and it is amazing. Often times using VRBO the pictures are better than the house itself and it was not the case with this home. The house was more than we would have expected. There was tons of open space to spread out both inside and outside. The set up of the house was very conducive to the size of our family with a downstairs master with in-suite bathroom, two large in-suite bedrooms upstairs and a bedroom in the basement. The kitchen was very large and designed in a way that allowed for the "cooks" to socialize with the rest of the group and still have a great view of the beautiful landscape and pond on the property. There was also plenty of space outside to spend time. There was a very nice front porch, upper balcony of the second floor and a lovely back patio with a firepit and comfy chairs. I would recommend this property for any get together; girls weekend, boys weekend, family holiday or a romantic getaway. One of the best properties I have stayed at on VRBO.

Spectacular Stay!
