Nice hotel. Great location. Staff at the front desk were friendly and helpful. Be sure to turn off alarm clock if you are not getting up early (6 am). It was a nuance trying to turn it off. Hallways can be loud.

Check I was a nightmare. First, denied access because traveler name on reservation was my wife’s, who could not come. I had printed Expedia confirmation email in my name, though not listed as the traveler. Told by hotel wife had to call their number to add my name. She called. Nope. 3rd party reservation so we had to make name change through Expedia ( not the easiest to access a human by phone BTW). After wasting an hour to get name added, returned to front desk. “We don’t have a 2 Queen room for you”. What? Reserved and prepaid almost 3 months ago, and it’s now 2pm. Don’t tell me all your 2 queens are gone. I’m traveling with adult daughter, and didn’t pay to sleep on a roll-away. After putting up another stink, suddenly a 2 queen room appeared, but I had to wait until 4pm to access. I can only imagine I was given this treatment because room was booked through Expedia rather than Bonvoy site. Beware.

I hate that i had to go all the way at the lobby form the 8th floor to warm up my food . No microwave in the room .No complimentary whatsoever. They were being shady because i booked my stay with a 3rd party . Smh !!

Ugh. Had a terrible experience here. I am sincerely shocked by how many ways in which it was a total fail. The hotel has a terrible design, and was very dingy. Our room’s window did not face outside! Rather, it overlooked a dismal atrium with ballrooms. This meant that the already bleak room was dark and claustrophobic. It also meant that the wedding being held kept us up past midnight, and we had an early morning the following day. Nearly all of the staff was rude and went out of their way to not be helpful. Our room wasn’t properly stocked with basic amenities. There were no working ice machines to be found. An elevator was out, and we waited ridiculously long periods of time for one to arrive. Throughout our 3 days, we continued to be surprised by the constant stream of unpleasantness. The only saving grace was the location.

M my key card didn't work and I had to go to the front desk at least a good two or three times to be assigned to two or three different rooms and then the guy at the front desk had to actually walk me to my door for the last run and he also was like oh this is the only time that the key card did not work it was an inconvenience I was tired I was ready to go to sleep I just work 16 hours it was a complete inconvenience those hallways are not a short walk to the front desk I was ready for bed

The staff on the property had poor customer service. I was there for a basketball tournament and there was a long wait for check in. Not enough staff. When I was the next one up the person at the counter, decided to take a bathroom break. The food in the nearby areas is terrible and so is their customer service I have never been more disappointed in my life and could not wait to leave Baltimore, Maryland. Male African American bald bartender was serving drinks and it looked like he did not want to be there. I asked for jack and coke and he gave me Pepsi and jack. I asked for a lime several times. Asked him for 1 ice cube in my drink and he gave me several. At one point, the bar was open and no bartender there. I had to go to the 5th floor and that was also closed. Smh.

Nice size pool, goes up to 7 feet. Hershey candy bars upon arrival. Restaurant in lobby. Parking was convenient. Great location. Will definitely return

The staff was wonderful! I am giving lower stars because although I had a room booked it was not available to get into until midnight and that was after several conversations with the manager at the front desk. I was told the issue was they did not have enough staff to clean the rooms so rooms were still being cleaned at midnight and therefore others who were waiting for a room ended up having to find another hotel at midnight

The property is clean. However it took me 45 minutes to check in they only had two front desk clerks scheduled on a very busy day:( The bell men aren’t customer friendly at all! All they care about it their tips!!!

Upon checkin we were told the Bell Hop would get our bags and he did not. He actually went to the car behind us. When we pulled up he did ask if we needed help and i said yes but I was going to check in and my husband who was driving would get the bags out. I checked in early and the room was not ready and the front desk staff (whom I won’t name bc I’m not like that even though he was rude) told me that we could leave our bags on the closet by the front and that he would call us when our room was ready. After a very hard few hours of being out and about (dealing with personal issues) we arrived back at the hotel to get our bags and key. The same employee wanted to argue with me about the fact our bags had been checked in and we had the check in tags. They had not give us any. In fact when I brought the bags in by myself (no help from the front bell hop). The employee told me just to leave them. Then argued with me when we picked up that he had given me red tags. Until he walked out and looked at our bags and realized there were no tags. I then told him that he also was supposed to call and let us know our room was ready. I which he said well maybe it isn’t. I responded that that it’s 6p and it should be. I did call him boo because just what I do and over and over again he told me his name!! I am not rude enough to mention that here bc that is just not me. The pool was gross. No towels. And they tee piled up dirty. We didn’t even have one for the kids to dry on. I have pics

This was one of the best hotels we’ve stayed in Baltimore. The breakfast, especially the omelettes were delicious. The cleanliness and overall aura of the hotel was perfect.

Noisy, unruly people at pool, shooting (17yo killed) on door step of the hotel. Staff was nice and attentive to issues that they could help with but overall the Harbor area seems no longer to be an area I am comfortable taking my kids.

Our bathroom did not have soap or shampoo. There we a big roach in our bathroom. The parking was difficult to keep adding time for the car and more expensive than I was told.

Great location in the inner harbor area. We were close to many attractions including dining options. The room was spacious and clean. The pool was smaller than we anticipated. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

A nice view of the harbor. Lots of police and security present. Had a lot of motorcycle groups ride down the road doing wheelies and moving between traffic and I think the police came to encourage them to go elsewhere.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this property. The location was convenient and I felt safe in a city I was visiting alone for the first time. Dining, entertainment, and shopping options in walking distance. The staff was friendly and helpful Big shout out and thank you to Derrick (Bellman/Valet) who was extremely nice and friendly. He helped me with storing my luggage for a few hours before my departure. If I visit Baltimore again in the future, will return to the Renaissance Baltimore Harborplace Hotel.
