Our room was right over the gym - if you like loud music and constant thudding noises and being woken at 6:30 am then this is for you.
Would not recommend at all- manager was unhelpful and staff clearly knew right away where our room was and what the thudding noises were without having to even think about it.
Manager claims no one else has complained about this room. It’s AWFUL- stay away and do yourself a favor. There is nothing in Athenry - stay in the city if Galway and you will have a MUCH better vacation.

First of all, room was very clean and in a good walkable location. We parked and didnt have to worry about the car until the next day. There was no staff interaction, but check in was quite simple. Now to note...these rooms are LOUD!! It was HOT (no AC or fan) so we had to leave windows open. The city does not sleep. There were provided earplugs but did not help. A nice mini fridge would have been great so we had some cold water throughout the night. Again, hotel was clean but not sure I would book this again in the future,

"We were on the 2nd floor room 212 and it was HOT. There was a little oscillating fan to use as the AC for the room. The lobby was ice cold only place on the property that has A/C. So just be prepared. Front desk ladies was short with me when I asked about and said I could upgrade to the Dyson room. ..."
