Nice Hotel. Was very quiet when we stayed end of September. Good central location. Restaurant good value. Heating system in the room (radiator) did not heat the room just the shower room but not a problem with the weather when we were there. We stayed 5 nights and travelled to all parts of Northern Ireland.

Would return and recommend!

We had a lovely stay! All of the staff were so friendly and couldn't do enough. Great vodka martini from the friendly barman (thanks.), and nice meal with generous portions. We had a superior suite which was so spacious. The coffee machine wasn't working - needed descaling - but after they came to have a look at it they brought us a pot of lovely coffee in our room which was much appreciated. My only suggestion would maybe be to update the mattress, it was a bit bouncy for me and my slightly knackered back but fine for one night. Would definitely stay again and recommend.

The twin room was too small for 2 beds no table or chairs to have coffee at. Drawers could only open a few inches. Bathroom and shower were good. Dinner in evening was awkward as we refused first table as it was in hallway. Manager was not happy and said we would have to sit in middle aisle. That suited us. Dinner disappointing and poor wine selection. No atmosphere in dining room. Staff were pleasant, especially cleaners who helped with our cases on arrival. Overall the hotel was dated and sorry but i wont be recommending a stay.

Great Hotel - I'll be baxck

Only stayed one night as I was at a function. Didn't use the hotel much but what I saw of facilities, Rooms and staff. I can't fault them

Overnighter

Clean, service was excellent, staff were friendly, attentive and welcoming. Food was nice and similarly priced to other restaurants. Got a nice pint of Guinness. Room had everything that was expected inc iron and ironing board, trouser press. I don't recall a hairdryer but would be surprised if there wasn't one.

The only problem l found was that the bathroom fans were noisy and took a while to go off. I could hear next doors and it kept me from falling asleep. Otherwise l was pleased. Breakfast could have been warmer but the mushrooms were fabulous. I would recommend the hotel with the provisos l have mentioned. Service was very good and made us feel valued.

The staff were very helpful and considerate. The evening meal was delicious with a good variety of choice. The breakfast however didnt match up to the same standard. The food had been cooked for a while, in spite of standing in the hot plates, it was cold and unappealing. The general decor needs a lick of paint. It was however clean and comfortable.

Disappointing

Nice hotel with exceptional staff. But room was poor, especially the bathroom. Very badly designed, not user friendly. Very noisy extraction fan, safety handrail that couldn’t be reached and shower screen almost impossible to get round.

All was good except got food poisoning from supper meal. Had Chicken sandwich with salad so the chicken or the hard boiled egg was bad. I know it wasn’t the lettuce as I shared the lettuce with my husband and he did not get sick. Also disappointed no free refill on my soda. Breakfast looked lovely but didn’t dare eat for fear I was not fully recovered from the night before.

The food quality was excellent for dinner. We ate dinner twice at the hotel, my only complaint on first night it was a little rushed. Breakfast the food was self serve from heated containers. As often the case eggs and bacon dry up when stored like this. Second morning, when there were very few guests around, this was an issue. Shame because the ingredients were all good. For both breakfast and dinner the portions were very generous too. Room was fine. Only issue, as in many hotels there are not enough decent lights. Low level lighting is nice and romantic but when you need to see what you are doing, or see to work, brighter lights are required.

Not bad, but lacks the fizz

On the whole not bad, but i didnt seem to feel welcome especially when i went for dinner. it seemed it was almost too much trouble to pull 2 tables apart for me to sit down but another guest came later and was told sit where you want. so why wasnt I? Food wasnt the best. My chicken breast tasted like it had been pumped full of water and was not very nice. I was compensated though Overall not bad and nice approach to the hotel but didnt like a room facing a wall and it was rather noisy with fan and machines making a lot of noise
