"Had the most relaxing few days at this beautiful cottage.Fantastic panoramic views. Cottage was well equipped, lovely fire and very comfortable all round. Everything you need for a relaxing break and a 5 -10 minute drive into Downings. William the owner was very helpful and made the booking process very easy. Would highly recommend and will definitely return☺️"

"I stayed for 1 night at Madra Rua and the place was excellent. The owners were fantastic and done anything they could to make you comfortable and welcome. The breakfast was lovely and fresh and there were plenty of choices. I would recommend staying here if you are in the area exploring the North coast of Ireland as i was. Its rural and safe which i needed as a lone traveller on a motorbike. The everlasting memory for me will be the hospitality of both Clara and Germãn which was second to none, oh, and not forgetting the home made muffins. Love from Scotland, Stevie"

"Arrived with no problem finding the property as party of 5 adults and 2 dogs. The weather was perfect and we enjoyed plenty of walks exploring the beautiful grounds.The property was perfect and the kitchen had everything you would need and the bedrooms were spotless with plenty of towels for everyone. Fergus was a great contact and brought us the tennis racquets after my daughter contacted the host that day. We would highly recommend this property for a family etc with pets for a relaxed break from their busy lives and spend quality.time together in a quiet location."

"First class room & facilities. Just be aware that the rooms are above a bar which is frequented by teenagers & can get a bit noisy at the weekend but nothing too crazy."

" Views! This room was large, perfect for a family of four, and had an amazing view of the ocean which was literally right out the window. We could hear the ocean at night with the windows cracked. Bathroom was great too with HOT water and exceptional water pressure! "
