We loved our time at the home. Spectacular views. Hard to beat. A little hiccup trying to get ahold of the property manager, but VRBO came to the rescue and we got stuff sorted out relatively quickly. Great spot. Thank you!!

Awesome location
Our family really enjoyed this property. Nothing compares to the view. Ocean and mountains. Plenty of space for entire family. I would suggest going to Garvey's SuperValue for any groceries you need. We took the train to Cork. We did the Slea Head Wave, this is a must. Some went on a boat for fishing. Caught great fish. Went to Killarney and did the National Park and went into Dingle for Pub Crawls,Aquariim and shopping. I wish we had more time in Killarney & touring the town of Dingle. I would recommend spending more than a week. Love the southwest of Ireland. Would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay on the Dingle Peninsula. Nula is a kind host and communication from her was top notch. Views are incredible right from the home -- just as shown in the photos. House is fully stocked with LARGE appliances which is a rare find. .PDF guide to the area was also very helpful. Couldn't recommend highly enough!

Beautiful location…loved the close by cliff walking trail
We loved the location…walking trail was spectacular…with miles of coastline, we had no other encounters of people, but met some very nice sheep…it was like a personal walking trail of spectacular views…House was nice with plenty of space for large groups…really enjoyed our stay…only comment, rent a GPS, we did not have one and had difficulty finding it, but after that was pretty much perfect…thank you

Stunning and peaceful location
This is a great sized house for a group holiday. The location and views are stunning from both sides of the house. The garden is lovely and big. There is a little beach in walking distance and other trails for walkers. The facilities in the house are good with each room having an en-suite. There is a large kitchen with a big table and also a utility. You do need a car to get about to see things and buy provisions as there isn’t a shop nearby and the pub that is within walking distance was closed when we stayed although it looked like work was being done to re-open it. Dingle is about a 20 minute drive with lots of food options and the nearby beaches are stunning. There are a few little things that could be done to make this place perfect such as some garden chairs, an updated bbq, maybe some games for the garden, more new cups and glasses in the kitchen and fixing a few little snags like the downstairs wardrobes being difficult to open and close. The windows in the kitchen could have done with a good clean too. Check with the owner before you go that all bedrooms will be available if you are in a group of less than 10. One of the best rooms was locked when we arrived and the house keeper said there was a leak but later got a bit funny with us and said we paid per person and so didn’t get all the rooms. I emailed the owner and it was resolved quickly. All in all this is a spacious house in a great location and we would recommend.

5 bedroom house near Dingle with beautiful views of the sea and mountains
The house is in a beautiful location, with views of the sea and mountains. There are plenty of lovely walks and there is a selection of beaches nearby. The house is close to Dingle (about 10mins drive). The house itself is very welcoming. The rooms are very spacious, bright and nicely decorated, and all bedrooms have en-suite. It was the perfect house for our family group and we enjoyed the most wonderful few days there.

A wonderful place to stay, away from crowds but close to everything
We stayed for just over a week at the house and had a fantastic time. The views are just amazing and even when there is bad weather you can watch the waves crashing against the rocks in the distance for hours! The house is about 15 minutes from Dingle and a perfect base to see the Dingle peninsula by car. There are great walks near the house and the views are spectacular. The house is large and spacious with all the modern features you would expect. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinners from scratch. There is a large safe garden around the house which the kids loved to play in. We really had a wonderful holiday. Thank you so much. I would highly recommend this property.

Perfect Christmas Holiday
Our family of 5 stayed at the house for our Christmas holiday. The bedrooms suited our needs perfectly with cozy bedding and comfortable beds. The living room with the fireplace having an exquisite view of the bay was our favorite place to be. The kitchen was well equipped and we thoroughly enjoyed doing Christmas baking and cooking. As an active family who enjoys the outdoors, we were able to run and hike every day directly from the house. It was easy access to Dingle with the many wonderful shops and great grocery stores. Above all, we truly appreciated the attentiveness of John and Jacquie, making sure we were situated and happy. The entire stay could not have been better and we look forward to coming back again.

Perfect Irish Getaway
This is hands down exactly what we were looking for during our stay in this wonderful country. The house was large and well kept, the views were amazing and the atmosphere made it very easy to relax. I won't speak much on the house itself as the descriptions made by the owner accurately reflect what you will find. My family and I spent 3 days here and upon reflection I wish we had spent our entire trip in this location. The town of Dingle offers enough local fare to keep a group entertained and the local sight seeing drive was spectacular. Simply speaking when we return to Ireland I plan on this being at the top of the list.

Beautiful setting and excellent location
We had a wonderful stay at Ballydavid with our 6 adult children and ourselves. The house was large and spacious with each room offering beautiful views of the ocean and mountains. The bedrooms were large with private baths. My children loved the pool table upstairs. It was just steps away from great walking paths along the Wild Atlantic Way and a 10 minute drive to Dingle Town and the harbor. Dingle offers lots to do day and night. There is good hiking nearby at Mt. Brandon and "The Three Sisters". There is a small beach just down the hill from the house. There is a nice pub called T.P.'s nearby on another beach with good food and Guinness. John Moran, the owner, was very responsive to all our inquiries prior to the trip and Jacquie was quite helpful when we arrived. A place we would return to again.

75th Birthday Celebration
We had the pleasure of booking Ballydavid in August of 2018 to celebrate my Mom's 75th birthday. The key to the home is the location. It is located just outside of An Fheothanach in Kerry which is a 20 minute drive from Dingle. Pictures may show the views but experiencing location with its smells of the sea spray and seeing sheep grazing on the hills above for yourself is very different. The host family has been kind enough to share their home and this slice of heaven with westward looking views of the Atlantic and the Three Sisters. We took advantage of hiking, kayaking, and live music in Dingle while on our trip. We also used Ballydavid as a base to head down to Cork to visit our ancestral hometowns in West Cork. The house itself was great. It easily held our family, allowed for folks to head to their own "wing" if they wanted to retire early in the evening. You can tell the design was well thought out as the "wings" are situated to create a wonderful outdoor space facing the ocean. Our family had a tremendous time and we were able to build a lifelong memory thanks to the host, his home and his caretaker Páid.

Amazing location and beautiful home
We had the pleasure of staying at this gorgeous home for 5 days in mid April. The views and location are absolutely amazing. Looking at the beautiful coastline, crashing waves and fields filled with cows, sheep and lambs was nothing short of magical. The home was very comfortable and well appointed. The local caretaker Jacquie was delightful, helpful and available for any questions or suggestions. All in all, a delightful spot. Thank you John and family for sharing your spot and we hope to return again soon!

Views are everything!
We had a wonderful time at Ballydavid. Although I was at first disappointed that it is farther from the town of Dingle than I thought, the views and area are so spectacular, that I'm thankful that I didn't opt for a hotel in town. Waking up to sunrise and walking down to the beach was a treat I will not soon forget. Jacquie, the caretaker, was so kind and accommodating. When she thought that the coffeemaker was broken (it turned out it wasn't), she brought us her own coffeemaker so that we wouldn't have to go without one. Great place to stay! Would rent again if we go back to the area.

Response from VrboOwner on 26 Mar 2020
Thank you Lindsay. We've been going to Dingle for 30 years and our initial instinct was also to be in town. The nice thing about the peninsula is that all the villages and Dingle itself are only 10 minutes or so a part. We discovered that we'd prefer to drive 10 minutes in to town rather than 10 minutes out to the coast or TP's at the Bally David pier, etc.

Incredible Vacation on Dingle
The House was perfect and the views from the house were spectacular. The Dingle peninsula and the location of the house are absolutely breathtaking. It was great to be able to spend time in Dingle at some really great Pubs at night and to do some nice day trips to do a Horseback Trek on Maharees and to sight see in Kinsale and Killarney. We would gladly come back and stay in the same place for our next vacation in Ireland

Beautiful house, stunning location
Our group of 10 have just spent 4 wonderful nights at this beautiful house. The views in every direction are stunning and the house itself is gorgeous. It is a fantastic location as a base to explore all that the Dingle Penninsula has to offer. Only a short drive into Dingle, it offers the peace and tranquility we were after, whilst being within easy reach of the busy little town. After a night out, a taxi ride home cost us €5 each so the isolated location does not prevent a good night out if desired. There are plenty of walks from the house if you want to avoid driving too much or there are treasures galore if you’re prepared to go a bit further. Highlights for us were a trip the Great Blasket Island (go with Billy and Alice - worth every one of the €60) where we saw lots of dolphins, seals, puffins and a whole lot more and a drive across the Conor Pass to Brandon Bay is well worth it. Nothing is too much trouble for anyone in this part of the world, not least John, the owner’s man on the ground Padraig who sorted us with extra dining space as the house only normally has seating for six. John himself has been responsive and helpful throughout. I thoroughly recommend a stay here.

Incredible Home
We stayed at Moran Fort for the Christmas holiday. My family (2 adults + 2 kids), my parents, and my brother and his wife all met up for Christmas. We stayed for six days at this house, and it was perfect. There is plenty of space for everybody to have their own areas to sleep, shower, and just get away from all the hustle and bustle. There is also a lovely living room with a fireplace that is cozy and relaxing. There are beautiful views of the water in the cove from the living room, dining room, and upstairs game room. The house is absolutely beautiful and everything we were hoping it would be. It was only a fifteen minute drive into Dingle to go to dinner or the aquarium or just walk around the charming little village. I would definitely recommend this place to anybody. John was a wonderful host, and his groundskeeper, Paidraig, was so helpful and accommodating. Five stars, for sure!

Dingle House
We (4 adults, 3 kids) stayed here for 4 nights last week. The house and surrounding area are beautiful. Unfortunately a few major glitches happened, so we can't rate it 5 stars. The master bedroom (upstairs) bathroom began leaking (pouring water) out of the kitchen ceiling. We were unable to use the bathroom for the entire stay. On the second day the heat turned off. The caretaker was able to get it restarted for one more day, but the last two nights (during a major storm) we had no heat. As we were traveling with 3 children, they wanted to watch movies during the evenings. We had to ask for a DVD (even thought it was to be included) which was delivered broken. They then sent a new one on the last day. Minus all of the hiccups the house is gorgeous. If the weather was better and warmer the heat wouldn't have been an issue, but unfortunately it was. The house is about a 10 minute drive from downtown Dingle.

Incredible views and beautiful home!
This is the third time we have stayed in this home and we fall in love with it a little bit more each time. We had some family members come and visit us while we were there and it is the perfect place for everyone. Each of the 5 bedrooms is en suite and absolutely beautiful. The town of Dingle is charming and the views everywhere, especially from the house, are breathtaking. Paidraic, who owns the.B&B across the bay and oversees the house, was not only extremely helpful, he was a pleasure to share stories with. We will definitely be going back!

Amazing views in a very comfortable house.
We loved our stay in this beautiful house. The scenery was spectacular from every room. The beds are comfortable. We took several walks from the front door, including a walk along the water with waves crashing on the cliffs. Its a short drive to Mount Brandon, Brandon Creek and walking distance to a pub, short drive to another and a small market. This is the perfect spot to be away from the crowds of Dingle, yet close enough to run into town when necessary. We preferred the villages of Ballyferriter, Ventry and Ballydavid over Dingle. John was a gracious host and attentive to all of our needs. Looking forward to many future visits.
