Lough Inagh Lodge Hotel

Lough Inagh Lodge Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"Can’t say enough good things about this property! The location on the lake is fabulous and it is on the way to Connemara National Park and the coast. The two sitting rooms with fireplaces were a welcome refuge after a day of hiking and sightseeing . We were able to walk by the lake and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The lodge itself is exactly what you would expect in a natural Irish setting. The food was very good and the bar was cozy offering an opportunity to meet other guests. The staff was welcoming and helpful. Tom the bartender was a charm. They washed our clothes at no charge and returned them folded! Wish we could have stayed longer."

"A last-minute recommendation took us to Clifden where we found the Ardagh Hotel. What a fantastic hotel! The accommodations were comfortable, clean and well kept. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Our only regret was not staying longer; hopefully we will make it back again. If you are thinking about it, you won't regret staying at the Ardagh Hotel."

"The grounds were lovely and staff were friendly and helpful. The manager was engaging and the history of the castle over the years was interesting. Food was excellent both dinner and breakfast. Our room was spacious with great view - really was everything I’d hoped for. Wonderful clawfoot tub with bath salts for relaxing after day at Kylemore Abby and Connemara park. Would absolutely recommend. If we return to Ireland this will be on our list."

"Clean and quiet lodge great for anyone looking for a peaceful stay. A 10 minute walk into the town and a 20 minute bus ride to Connemara National Park which was absolutely stunning. The breakfast was quite good as well for a buffet style arrangement, able to have a full Irish if you so please as well as fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, and oatmeal. The staff were very accommodating as there were huge delays with the rails and a missed train the day we arrived and we didn't get in until after 8 pm with no problems."
