A wonderful place to stay if you are visiting KZN. It is safe, quiet and very beautiful. The property we stayed in was very comfortable and was serviced by a lovely lady daily (thank you Cindy). The only weirdness was on check out. My daughter asked for a sitemap that she could take home. These are a single sheet A3 folded down to A4 with advertising on the back. The lady at guest services refused. Great way to damage the brand by being so cheap and nasty.

VERY Disappointing, nowhere near the ocean!

The Zimbali Condo page on hotels.com clearly offers a "beachfront vacation home". It would be reasonable therefore to expect a unit that is on the beach. Great was my disappointment when we were allocated a unit approximately FOUR KILOMETERS from the beach, swimming pools and restaurants, next to a busy highway and with a partial view of the sea on a clear day! When I complained to the Zimbali Condo team about this, I was told that since the Zimbali Estate borders the ocean, ALL their units are considered beachfront. This is plain and simple deception, since the Zimbali Estate is the size of an average seaside town! They were extremely unwilling to even discuss a solution to this situation. I have uploaded a picture from the unit... see if you can spot the ocean near this "beachfront vacation home". Also, please note that the reviews on the page is for the Fairmont Zimbali Resort, which is inside the same Estate, but NOT the same place as Zimbali Condos.
