"This property was a “Barcelo” hotel at some point… now it is just another rundown resort in Honduras, which there are many of those. Maybe it is a cultural thing, or maybe it is people with big dreams, or too much greed that build these masive properties, but don’t follow up with proper maintenance. ..."

"The upsides: The hotel is BEAUTIFUL - truly an escape in the mountains. The pool overlooks the river which was stunning!!! We stayed at the Colibri house - the space was clean and even though it didn't have AC, we really didn't need it bc there are plenty fans and the night isnt as hot. The downsides: ..."
